When you go back and read the first post, it says the female is 3.14 pounds..so she is 2oz from 4 pounds..she might have a decent size frame on top of it all. What I am saying is this...a female of this size is really not scary small..yes, she is small, but if her frame is a solid 4 pounds, maybe even more, she will probably do fine with good vet care. Would I tell a novice to chance it..NO, and the problem could have been corrected. The poster had not had her female spayed in 2 yrs, so she had to be aware this could happen so easily...and now it has.

These problems are ususally self correcting without advise. Most pet owners go through this situation once..then make sure the female is spayed. Usually once is enough to wise up.
