| So your pups are 10 days premature? I hope her dates were off and all your puppies do ok. Sounds like it's a good thing you got her in when you did! Please keep us posted on how it goes! |

| I'm so glad you got her to the Vet and she is OK. Are you sure about your dates? If they are 10 days early, sadly they won't make it. They cannot digest milk this premature. I use Fading Puppy Support by Dogzymes as a supplement until they can handle milk. I also use SubQ fluids with a small amount of Dextrose. I feed with a syringe since they also can't suck. Be careful not to give it too fast or too much as they will drown. You have a lot of work coming your way! Praying for Mama and the babies.. and hoping your dates were off and they're not that early! Good luck! |

| Do you have Nutri-cal to give to mom? If so then give her some of that several times a day. She need a quality puppy food so keep trying to get her to eat. Maybe if you ground up some dry food and added some canned Pedigree puppy food and make little meat balls out of that that she might eat. Scrambled egg is good too. You might have to hand feed her for awhile. It is good that the pups are suckling. That will help bring the milk in. Sometimes it just takes a couple of days. Also, you can buy some pedialyte and give her a little of that. Are you puppies hairless? Premature pups will not have hair and their skin will feel rubbery. I am praying momma and babies do well. |

Good luck and try to get some rest. Oh... are you giving fenegreek? It helps bring milk in. I bought some at the GNC store locally. Maybe that will help! | |
