Yes, I am sure my opinions are unpopular but I have talked to far to many people who were attacked by people on here for things that are not neerly as controversial as what this thread is about.

No one attacked anyone...just their practices. The bottom line is that the pup needs a good home. You can help to facilitate that by talking to your colleague and convincing her to turn her over to a rescue.

Time to show everyone how much you really love the breed. This pupster needs time and loving....and does not need to be sold.

Look to the earlier posts . None said anthing about not feeding her abused pup She got her malnourished bitch at approximately one year old and she got pregnant soon after she got her. Totally unresponsible on this owners part.

Yes, this is a concern but she is already working taking care of the problem.

All breeding practices are going to be attacked on here because the consensus is no one should breed dogs.

The consensus is that if one is to breed, it be done correctly. With the health and welfare of the dam and pups.....Simple as that.

I've said to you repeatedly that she bred this abused girl as soon as she got her, when she was still malnourished, scared and obviously in need. See post #25

Yes, when they capture your heart it is so sad to part with them.
Calypso was abused before we got her -- she was really bad off as far as interacting with humans. We felt so sorry for her, and have really pampered her along. She goes into panic mode, when I get the yardstick to measure an afghan, or use my grabber to get something off of a shelf. She used to hide in the corner and wouldn't let us even pet her. Slowly she came out of it, and perks up her ears and runs to us when we call her. But, still, she will be the one that has to go, if we can't get this under control once and for all.

You read these words and you tell me how this dog should have ever been bred? She deserved a home with love and protection and look what she got. The fact that you are knowingly sending your pups to someone who has so little regard for animals is beyond my comprehension. This has gone beyond 2 females fighting. If you can't see that, if you don't care what happens to those puppies you've known since birth, then I feel so very sorry for you.

Advice was offerred, but not any that she wanted to take. Spaying was not an option for her as she uses her dogs to supplement her income.

I hope Golden Parti asks her where she got this girl? What kind of living conditions was she in for her to be the way she is....Cheap dog sold at an auction or from another person just making $$$ off of her/his dogs. When will the cycle be broken of this type of breeding and people thinking it is okay.

This *is* a forum to help people, and I've seen a whole lot of advice and ideas offered to the OP. There is even a rescue who has offered to help her immediately.

This is also a forum that promotes the well being of yorkies (and many other animals, often) and people will speak up for a dog's best interest here, thankfully.

I don't see attacks in this thread. I see a lot of passion yes, and a whole lot of concern.

Okay enough the original poster got enough advice for her two fighting females. An offer from a rescue.

We have posted our concerns on this "breeder's" practice and tried to guide the OP into a rational, objective, and hopefully more knowledgeable way, to bred our breed to improve the bred, to do the requisite health tests, and rearing of the pups, that at the minimum secures their safety.

The OP hasn't been back on for awhile in terms of posts. Hopefully she is digesting all that she has heard. She has been directed to the breeding section for detailed info on breeding.

I really hope she can prove she loves her by giving her to Yorkie Haven Rescue but I am so afraid for the dogs taking her place...Just sad.

And this is all you took from what everyone's had to say? It doesn't concern you how she has treated a previously abused dog, how she's admitted to using a cane on her dogs, none of it concerns you?
