LITTLE YORKIE KISS breeder BEWARE Deana Junk aka Deana Machado Edmonton Hi everyone, I just joined the forum today... I was searching the name of the breeder I just got ''ripped off'' by and a ''Beware ad'' with her name popped up on Yorki Talk. Deana Junk aka Deana Machado of www.littleyorkiekiss.com sold me a sick yorkie last sunday and will not give me back my money, the dog has a grade 4 luxating patella, collapsing trachea and cardia arythmia. I wanted to return the dog the next day and she told me ''NO''. She does not care about her dogs, only the money! Do not buy from her or her co-breeder Ann Kortzman. She looked like a reputable breeder on her website...but I was fooled. I am glad for the posts everyone has put on here about her, I just wish I would have done some research on her before hand. Im not the first and dont think I will be the last. I have read some horrible posts about her on this forum and her awful ways. Hope this post helps others who are unaware of this awful breeder.

Sorry to hear.... I was sorry to hear about your experience with Deana. I purchased my Nikki from her 1.5 years ago and had a terrific experience. Nikki was 6 months old when we got her but I was totally impressed with Deana. She drove to Red Deer to meet me with her....not sure what happened. Her website says she guarentees her dogs for a year.

| On her website, she states they stand behind their puppies "110%", plus there is a one year guarantee on genetic things. I would copy her web page where these things are stated and print it out. Then I would talk to an attorney. Pronto. I would think that if the dog had grade 4 LP, and a collapsing trachea, something would have stood out when you looked at the dog that would make you question the health of the dog.

Yes she is.....I spoke with Deana and told her about the Kijiji add. Not sure Kijiji is the place you need to air these things. But all I can say is not everyone had a BAD experience with Deana. I would definitely buy another dog from her. She does care and even 1.5 years later still remembers my Nikki.

well, Deana definately knew the dog she sold me had a level 4 luxating patella. But ofcourse, her contract states that is not covered, only life threatening condition. She lied to me about the weight of the dog. I wanted a dog no smaller than 4 pounds because she is on open registration. Deana guaranteed me she was 4 pounds, shes actually 3.4 pounds. There is no way I will breed a dog that small. She is 1 year and 4 months so I am sure she will not get any bigger. She also has cardia arythmia (not sure if its spelled right). The day I got her was Sunday so I took her in Monday to the vet to get checked out and I found all these things out. My vet told me that he could tell right away about the patellas by how the dog was walking. now I know why she was so eager to sell her. I called Deana that day and told her I wanted to bring her back. She then ignored me for a week. Anyways, Im glad you had a great experience with her but I found her rude and sarcastic. She doesnt care. I feel like I just got my heart ripped out!

First of all I do not know Deana, may be she is very nice and reputable, but, when you buy your puppy that is not registered with CKC, the owner is not the member of CKC, CYTA that what you have. All CKC breeders will take their puppy back anytime. And stand behind their puppies and dogs. My opinion mostly you should have these problems.

I would just give the dog back, not expecting any refund. You will be saving yourself alot of money and heartache in the future with this sick puppy.Check out the next breeder more carefully. This girl breeds alot of soft coated yorkies, which are difficult to groom.

Knowing Deana and how her breeding is done I know that she doesn't have alot of Yorkies...she only has 1 or 2 litters a year (maybe not even that). Not sure how some of this info is coming out but most of it is not true. I feel sorry for the person who purchased the unwell dog but perhaps if you contact Deana again and put all the bad feelings behind you and follow the contract you signed you may get farther than fighting and spreading gossip around...just a thought.
