I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Nature's Logic dry kibble Anyone using Nature's Logic? I really like ingredients, but I'm concerned the kibble size. Also, did your dog have any problems with it, and most importantly, did they like it?

| We tried it, sardine & lamb, they loved it...the kibble is really tiny, the tiniest I've seen. I liked that, I was obsessed @ the time adding moisture to their food (ever since Momo & Princess had struvite crystals), it only took minutes to get soft. My guys did not do well w/the NL canned food but was ok w/kibble...then we moved onto premade raw food.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think this food is just *awesome*! It would be what I would feed if I fed kibble bc I like its whole premise/philosophy. Do you remember WoogieMan? It's what he was feeding and he really loved it; he chose it after an exhaustive search...and you know how picky he would be for his kiddos.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Just an update, the boys are on Nature's Logic and are loving it, it is indeed very small kibble, which I was happy to see. I did a rather fast food switch because I was so annoyed with the Royal Canin using chicken by-product meal, instead of chicken meal. There was absolutely no problems in switching, no soft stools or tummy problems and Ralphie has a sensitive stomach. Also, no runny eyes and I was worried about this for Joey, so things are good. Thanks Jenny and Ann for your recommendations, my boys are happy and so am I.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I got the chicken, lol, I didn't want to vary to much from what I thought they were receiving, and I knew I wanted to do a fast food switch, I'm so angry with Royal Canin, I just wanted them off that food NOW. They have done really well on the chicken and I don't notice any allergies or sensitivities to it. Do you have any opinion on the other protein? The foods seem very similar to me except for the protein they use, so I guess it might be easy to switch it up a bit.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I always, thought their poop was small before, like little tootsie rolls, but now it's even smaller, not sure this is a good thing, it seems a little like rabbit pellets.

Also there is this from their site: "we add a highly palatable porcine plasma to our canned and dry kibble formulas after cooking. Research has shown this product increases palatability of food, reduces stool volume due to increased digestibility, improves stool quality versus control diets" So I think it's probably from less "filler" / extra stuff. And also, the decrease in corn and other carbs often reduces poo volume.

Very smart move to start them off w/chicken...if you're feeling adventurous, sardine wasn't as smelly (fishy) as I thought. Duck & Salmon would be another good choice...try all of 'em!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree, YT has really helped me become aware of so much and the more good information we have, the more we are able to make the best choices for our babies.
