| Sorry, I've never tried Nutrisystem. I did WeightWatches and lost weight and kept it off. You can eat whatever you want to on the WeightWatchers diet. and I was never hungry. I highly recommend it! If you want to know more about it, let me know! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'm on it right now - Day 11 and doing GREAT. I signed up herebefore I decided to do this....http://s2.forumforfree.com/index.php...azzman&act=idx ....since I don't have to lose that much - (20-25 lbs) ....I thought really hard about it - I had thought it was expensive - but with the free week - it came to $7.22 per day The Food is GOOD. The meals fill you up & are really tasty - I was surprised at how good they taste....I've gone from lots of Diet Soda during the day to 1 can at night - I don't even miss it. PM me if you decide to do this - I can get you some money off your 1st order - AND they're running a July Special for $50 off.....or 2 weeks free food - I'm not sure which. Course I found out all this AFTER I ordered LOL but I like it and have lost 5 lbs in 11 days.....That's a miracle for me - I dieted at New Years for 3 months and only lost 6 lbs. |

| I thought about trying all...Nutri System, Jenny Craig, etc., but cooking is not my favorite thing to do and if I was on one of those plans with prepackaged meals, I'm afraid my hubby and son would starve to death...LOL I really think I would like to try Weight Watchers and see how that would work. Not sure I would like to go to meetings, but it might be interesting. I have alot to lose. Everyone thinks I weigh less than what I actually weigh no matter what my weight (I guess I carry it well), but I'm over 200 lbs and want to take it off so bad. I did try the South Beach diet 2 years ago and lost 50 lbs really fast, but I gained it all back except for 10 lbs. I hate being fat!!!

It is very expensive to join? And then you have to buy books too? I know I sound like a cheapy, but I like to know ahead of time how much it will cost. I know I deserve to spend money on me especially for my weight and health, but I love spending it on the dogs too. LOL Do you have to measure out food or weigh it?

I never had to weigh any food. I just kind of guesstimate the serving size. It wasn't hard. The books are SO helpful...one of the books has points for every single kind of food imaginable...the other book is called the "Dining Out Companion," and it gives you the point amounts for every kind of food at every fast food restuarant and most popular chain restaurants. So, you don't feel like you are restricting yourself. I even ate Wendy's hamburgers when I was on the diet! Then if you run out of points for that day and you're still hungry, you just eat things that are zero points. For example, broccoli is zero points and fat free italian dressing is zero points, so if I got hungry I would zip broccoli in the dressing and pig out! Green beans are zero and so is Dale's marinade, so I would eat green beans cooked in Dale's....YUMMY! Even though I'm not on the diet now, I am keeping the weight off because WeightWatchers is really a lifestyle chage. I love it! | |
