Nutrisystems?

How wonderful you get to go on a cruise!! That would sure make me want to lose weight. I need to lose about 100 lbs also. SUCKS!! I don't mind telling you I'm at 231 lbs. I just don't remember changing sizes, is that dumb or what. I think if I had actually stopped and thought, hey I can't wear size "whatever" now I'd better drop a few pounds first, but I don't remember it happening. If I could just get down to 145 or 150 I'd be happy. I'm wishing you all the best on your weight loss journey.

I've used weight watchers for several years. About 4 years ago, you could join "weight watchers at home". I found it on the internet. I think it cost about $70.00 for all the books and information. You didn't have to go to any meetings at all. There was also "weight watchers online" but I didn't want to do that, because you had to go online at times to get some of the information - I wanted it all upfront. I did buy a cheap set of postal scales (at Office Depot - about $15.00) to weigh food when I first started. But very soon, you learn the correct portions and don't have to weigh things. I do think it helped at first to weigh portions (not everything of course) because it helped me to see that I was eating waaaaay too much food!

Anyway, it really works. I lost 35 lbs - I've gradually gained back 10 lbs over the past year - but I'm back on WW right now and I've lost 4 lbs in a week and a half. I highly recommend it!

My daughter has done Jenny Craig, which is, I think, much like nutrisystems and it really worked too!

I think you just have to find what works best for you and then "go for it!"
