| Anyone have any chicken crock pot recipes? So I'm debating getting a crock pot, but honestly, the meals seem MORE difficult. Anyone have any good chicken or turkey (I don't eat any other red meat or pork) recipes for the crock pot? |

| Easy Herb Chicken 3-5lbs chicken (cut up) 3/4c miracle whip 3/4c parmesan cheese 1tsp oregano 1tsp basil Skin chicken and place in slow cooker (can also use boneless, skinless chicken tenders). Combine all other ingredients and spread on top of chicken (if chicken pieces are layered in crockpot: place sauce between layers). cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

| OMG, Jenn! Thanks so much! I hope you had those typed/saved on your computer and that you didn't type them all! They all sound so good! I wish I had the crock pot now, haha. Weird question: If I were to half the amount of chicken/turkey would I half all the other stuff? I know you would in traditional cooking but I'm not sure about in the crock pot. |

| If you want the same amount of lets say "stuffing" than just keep it the same. BUT if you are wanting to cut the meal in half, definitely cut it all back...otherwise, it might be too overpowering (the herbs, etc). I normally cook the actual recipe and then freeze it in smaller portions to have on hand for later. I save time cooking in the crockpot and then save even more time by freezing it! I have tons of recipes.....I have been typing some on computer to make ONE big recipe binder...so just let me know if you ever want more.

| Kyle...wanted to add. I have a bigger crock pot...can't remember the brand right now, but it is a nice size and the crock comes out for easy cleaning. It is a nice glass lid that fits perfectly...I have had some that the lids didn't seem to fit well. We don't use it often, but once a week we get it out when my daughter has volleyball practice because that means we get home late. I think you will really enjoy having one.....There are lots of good recipes...not just "meat" recipes but for veggies, desserts, drinks, soups, etc.
