| Can your yorkie(s) communicate with you? Jake has ways to let me know what he wants, it's always so interesting to me how he goes about things. He's so child-like, almost human!!! His eyes are VERY expressive!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE his eyes! One example I can give is when he wants to play, he will bring the toy over to me and drop it at my feet. If I don't respond, he will either nudge my leg with his nose or he will jump up and nudge my hand. If I ask what he wants me to do, he looks down at the toy, then back up at me. If I still don't do anything, he picks the toy up and literally puts it in my hand lol. That's just one example of so many more! Can your yorkie(s) communicate what they want to you, and how do they do it?

| Yes, I believe they do and can "talk" to you. Daisy likes to "talk back" to me when I say, "NO!" or don't give in to what she wants. She makes the funny noises - "talks". When she wants to play fetch, she definately will let me know..She'll bring the toy over, drop at my feet, and if I try to ignore her, she'll nudge my feet or hop on the couch and lick my hands and then attempt to place her toy in my hand. LOL. When she does something good (pee, poop where she's supposed to) and we don't see her do it, she'll come to us and hop around us, to get our attention [also to tell us she wants her treat] .. They're def smart little cookies! :P

My parents yorkie does that exactly! When Lacy wants something (esp. when she's begging for food) she will nudge my leg with her nose. If that doesn't work she'll push off of my legs with her front feet or act like she's stretching a pawing at my legs (like a cat). If that still doesn't work she'll back up and make little growling noises and then bark. She'll also just stare at me sometimes. She goes almost everywhere with me and hardly ever gets left at home so she always expects to go with me when I'm getting ready to leave. As soon as I pick up my purse and keys she runs to the door and wants me to pick her up to go (If she doesn't get her leash put on). It's sad when I do leave her because she looks at me with sad eyes like "You're not taking me?". Then when I get back home she is SO excited! She will jump up and down until I bend down and pet her and she gives me kisses. Then she runs around and attacks her toys and wants me to play with her. When she barks and I tell her to hush sometimes she talks back to me by getting a last "woof" in (like a quieter bark)

sometimes he wants more than one thing. so after he is done with one he will sit and look at me and we begin to go through the list again. its cool if i have just given him water, or food, he wont react to those words anymore because thas not what he wants. | |

| definitely yes. I want to record on camera how she speaks to me. Yes, she does speak to me, she can pronounce some words, it is so funny. Usually it happens, when she asks me for something (whining), I don't pay attention to her, and she starts to complain and grumble. sooo funny . |

| Aubrey will do the same thing with his toys. Also, if I say "You want to take a bath" he will run and sit in front of his treats. Because each time he gets a bath, he gets a bone. |

| Yep, Miko loooves to talk to us He makes these noises, not growling and not barking and not whining...He's really trying to communicate with us. When it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner time, he'll come get us and bring us to the kitchen. Or whenever hubby and I are in the middle of a conversation, Miko will try to join in. LOL When the alarm goes off, and we don't wake up, he will lick us or "talk" to us until we get up. These little guys are sooo smart

Donating YT 11K Club Member | O YEA! Teddy talks! He makes noises that are so human like, it's crazy! I also love his eyes cause they're so pretty and expressive. London will look at us when she wants something and when we say "what?" she will make this little noise like "Come on mommy!". Sophia has this little cute expression on her face like she's happy all the time.

That sounds JUST like London! She paws at my legs to pick her up and if I act like I'm ignoring her she'll get mad and do it again, even harder

| The most interesting thing I've noticed about how Gizzy communicates is his ears! If he's not happy, flat against his head! lol Especially when I leave for awhile and come home. He gets excited to see me, but those ears are FLAT against his head and he softly whines...like he's chewing me out for leaving him! The combination of ear movement, little noises, eyes, motions...tell a complete story to me. He also notices when I put my shoes on, and starts jumping up and down right under the table where I keep his carrying/ travel bag.
