Yes, I believe they do and can "talk" to you. Daisy likes to "talk back" to me when I say, "NO!" or don't give in to what she wants. She makes the funny noises - "talks".

When she wants to play fetch, she definately will let me know..She'll bring the toy over, drop at my feet, and if I try to ignore her, she'll nudge my feet or hop on the couch and lick my hands and then attempt to place her toy in my hand. LOL.

When she does something good (pee, poop where she's supposed to) and we don't see her do it, she'll come to us and hop around us, to get our attention [also to tell us she wants her treat] ..

They're def smart little cookies! :P
