This was what my email said but I also sent a message to clarify.

"If you donated $25 or more, you can now have a larger avatar, up to 125 by 125 pixels (and 50kb in file size) and you also can participate in the YT Gift Exchanges (as long as you have been a YT member for one month or more and have 250 or more posts), which are held once every three months. A $25 donation allows you to enter one Yorkie per Gift Exchange forever!"

I got a response back from admin and it is 3 months, not one...so if I hit three months before the GE starts, then I'm in. If not, I guess I'll have to wait😞

Lots of great discussion and lot of newer and older members interested in joining in.... Yay !!

I say , give it a try. If you like it and have a good experience than that's great if not than at least you can say your tried it. Some of my closest relationships here on YT have come from participating in YT GE and those relationships have spilled out into my FB page and somewhat into my daily life and I am so glad that I had the experience good or bad.

I can tell you now that I may not be on YT as often as I was back when I did the other GEs. I don't even know if I will do the hints, that seems to not work in my favor. Hint hint, she figured out that it was me. LOL But I can promise you that our buddy will not be disappointed.

bummer I was hoping it changed, LOL by the amount of posts you have I would say like me you were commited to being an active YT member right out of the gate, that's why you racked up a lot of posts in a short amount of time. I guess you would be eligible to participate if it was started in April, so if one was not started until then there is still a chance you can join in.

I also hope that YT changes the message that they send out to new donating members in regards to being eligible for a GE after only one month of membership.

I actually think that four a year is too much. There was a thread that discussed the option of having fewer and I think the majority won. Not sure how many there were last year but for me 2 is plenty.

Yikes! I think twice a year is my personal max too

I would hate to see a cap on it since other groups of people could be participating (if there were an official eight minimum interested that is) I sure am excited to see this one get going!
