| Milli and I are the GE Buddy that sent our box to Slade and his Mommy I DID sent the box with delivery confirmation. The box was confirmed delivered on 2/14. I usually put insurance on anything I send, but the cashier at the post office rang up my order and ran it through, and then she realized she forgot the insurance on it. I told her not to worry about re-doing my order. I should have made her do this, but I was running late, and didn't think there would be a problem-there hasn't been one before. Anyway, I called USPS and filed a complaint. They told me it wouldn't have made a difference if there was insurance or not-the package was delivered to its destination. Insurance only covers the package while it's in the hands of the USPS-once it's delivered, it's not covered. They would have had a clue what was in the box-it had hearts, bones and paw prints on the outside of it I think if it was stolen, it was stolen just because people are mean. We're working together to get a complaint filed, so hopefully future packages will arrive safe and sound. I'd like to send another box for Slade and his mommy, but maybe to another address if possible, until this gets sorted out, and definitely with signature confirmation.

| Before sending another box, I would get with Admin and I would also make sure you have all the reports filed w/ the police and the post office. ---because if the post office leaves another box, this could happen again. Anyway, here, they have to get your permission to leave a package...and even then, they sometimes still won't leave them if you are not home. THAT IS WHY THEY HAVE DELIVERY SLIPS! --for you to go to pick the package up at the post office. --where it is SAFE! If this has happened before and it is in a questionable neighborhood, I do not know why it would have been left anyway! That is ridiculous! AURGH...what a mess for the both of you! I have also heard that about the insurance....once it reaches it's destination, that is it...the insurance and post office did what it was stated to do. Which, I guess, that is how it is meant to be. (?) Anyway...what a horrible experience!

| I'm so sorry for everybody involved. I know those goodies destined for Slade were great! Suzy you are so sweet to try and make all of this work. Has anything like this ever happened before with a GE? There should be some protection for the one sending out the gift, after the package is delivered. I know most people seem to go over the $20 gift, plus the shipping expense -- that's a lot for someone to have to replace. Plus all the time involved in putting together a good package

I wish our Post Office did that, I think it should be the rules! The mailman here rarely takes the stuff to the PO if we aren't home. In the past 3 yrs I have maybe had to go to the post office a handful of times to get a package. Anyway, I don't want Suzy to replace it. It was not her fault we didn't get it, so she shouldn't have to spend the additional time, money, etc. I've should have warned the postman it was coming and requested him not sit it outside the door if we weren't home. Slade'll be okay, he didn't need anything anyway.

| File a complaint on your mailman... That's why I shipped mine with UPS and include a requirement for signature ... I don't trust USPS anymore... at my old address, my mailman used to leave our packages sticking out of our mailbox... wth? We got lucky that no one took it...

Ours did that too, with my $60 clogging shoes!! Luckily it was Saturday and we came home right after he delievered but anyone just driving by wouldn't have even had to get out of their car to get them. I'm definitely filing a complaint about the mailman.

| That is really a shame! That has really opened my eyes and now i will require a signature for all of my deliveries! It never occurred to me that insurance would not cover that, but I guess it makes sense after going to the usps web site to read up on the insurance. I hope this doesnt take the joy out of the GE for either party!!! I too believe what comes around goes around!!! So so sorry this happened to you guys |

| So sorry to hear about your package... Maybe you can try have your big packages delivered to another address... i.e.: work, family or a friends house. Hope this helps...

It's not really USPS fault.. it's the mailman! They need to do something about this...

| So sorry to hear about your packages. That really does suck. The Christmas before last had two packages stolen from my parents porch. It's a pretty good neighborhood too. I was really upset but according to vendors there was insurance and that UPS would reimburse for packages. At least after a couple of weeks I eventually got items. I'm shipping my SB packages in a couple of days and will be sure to require a signature.

| Call the 1-800-ask-usps and tell them that you are having problems people stealing and you don't want anymore packages delivered, just to leave notices so you can pick them up at the PO.
