| My First and Maybe My Last Well after seeing all the posts on Fashion I decided to give it a try. Pulled out my sewing machine which I hadn't used in I don't know how long and gave it a try. Well 8 hours yes it took me 8 hours started at 11 this morning and finished at 7 pm. Holy Moly 8 hours to make a dress. You see I didn't use a pattern just kind of winged it. Awww next time I will buy a pattern and follow the directions. Well all I can say it one one a kind. I give all you folks alot of credit for the beautiful things you make your very talented and creative! |

| Thank-you for all for your kinds words on Chloe's dress. Good thing I purchased a yard and a half with all the mistakes I made. LOL But I have to admit it was fun getting out the machine and sewing again. |

| Oh my, LOL no wonder it took a long time, it's frigging perfect, really it is, and pleated no less. The dress is beautiful and it looks great on Chloe. did you trace another dress or just wing it and cut it out, you must have been a really good sewer at one time for this to be your first attempt. Please make sure to check out the designers challenge thread and join us for the Paw-ject runway show

Second... kudos to you for even trying. I've been tempted myself but am afraid it would be a disaster and much like you will take me 8 hrs or more. But dang .... you did a wonderful job, Its beautiful. Love how you did the pleated skirt. Dont stop now your on a roll . . . maybe next one will only take 6 hrs.

| If I can give you any advice, I will say, take notes of what you thought were mistakes and remember to not do them next time. As you keep sewing you will find shortcuts and tricks to make everything neater and easier. Just keep going. Don't stop! You're doing a great job! BTW yes there is math, algebra to be specific! Keep those notes handy too! I forget easily so refer to the notes and it will help you tons!
