If I can give you any advice, I will say, take notes of what you thought were mistakes and remember to not do them next time. As you keep sewing you will find shortcuts and tricks to make everything neater and easier. Just keep going. Don't stop! You're doing a great job!
BTW yes there is math, algebra to be specific! Keep those notes handy too! I forget easily so refer to the notes and it will help you tons!
