2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Sounds like fun, I only wish I had that I had the basic pattern down for a harness so that I could join but I haven't had my sewing machine out in years. Cant wait to see what everyone comes up with. I know they will all be wonderful but will we get to vote on our favorite?

Oh come on give it a try, lots of us are new at this. I am not sure about picking a favorite, I don't want anyone to feel bad or be afraid to try.

| LOL I don't know exactly but I think we should try to make this fun and no stress, but I will post my ideas and ask those that plan on participating to post theirs and let me know what they think of the suggestion I have, I really want everyone to be in agreement. Here are my ideas, but please chime in with yours Design Project - Harness Vest made from blue denim (new or recycled denim) Make as many as you would like for either girls, boys or unisex No full blown dresses or tutus but short ruffles and lace type skirts OK Have fun and be creative by using embellishments, coordinating fabric, lace, buttons, appliques, embroidery, grommets, studs and what ever else you can think of. Take at least three pictures of each vest, One laying flay good side up, one of the inside, and at least one on your pup. More than three are fine. Photos should be ready by April 30th. I would really like to make a smile box of every ones work. However if you would prefer to post the pictures individually than I guess I can start a thread on May 1st and you can post the photos there. I think a smile box would be fun and of course on the thread with the smile box you could still post additional photos if you wanted. I want to post the thread on the main page so everyone can see our Paw-ject runway fashion show. I bought some fabric yesterday but still have not come up with my design. I really think it will be fun to see how many different styles of denim vests we come up with.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | This is going to be so fun! Chewbaccas mom-a smile box is like a little slideshow. You can google smilebox and find them online. There are several free templates as well as ones you only get with a membership. I usually just use the free. They offer a program where you can upload your own photos for things like slideshows, digital scrapbook albums, and so on. Hope that helps!

| A lot of us on Yorkie Talk learned how to do a smile box from being in the Gift Exchange. I find it easier than posting pictures since they do not have to be resized. I also thought it would be a nice keepsake for those of us that participated. I copied the link of the one I made for the Christmas Exchange at the bottom of this post, this will give you and idea what they are like. I wound up buying the program it was real cheap, but like Aymee said most everyone just uses the free one. I though it would be fun to find some type of fashion theme. The only thing when you put your photos in the smile box some of the edges are cut off by their borders so I have found it is best to not crop your photos down all the way. I have a habit of cropping down to just what I want seen, but for the smile box you need to leave more space around what the object is you want to feature. If you guys want the smile box, you will need to email me your photos, when I make the show I will group each designers vests together with whatever copy they want under the slide. I will also put the show together in the order I get the photos, LOL that means the early bird will be at the front of the slide show. Just click on the link in my first post on this thread and you will see it http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yt-...lilo-cess.html
