Design challenge for fun

I just read on Lady Jane's thread that at the pet show she does for Yorkie Haven in the summer that pet clothing sell's well. Since I am making two items I think I will give her one for the show. (fingers crossed one is good enough). Thanks for the idea

I almost called you in a panic this morning, I was making a card for my parents 60th anniversary and boy did I have a hard time, I looked at your Yorkie facebook page for inspiration and wow do you have some beautiful papercrafts on there one of my problems is the cutting, I really don't have the right tools so nothing looks that sharp and crisp. I muddled through it and finally got something finished, they will like it but I still wanted to do better.

Had an idea if the Runway Paw-ject takes off as a regular YT activity. Maybe we could all make the project, and then do a "silent YT auction" and donate to a rescue or to YT.

I just decided to leave the neck open since its a larger area to turn right side out with. Than did a seam along the outside to close it up. Much easier.

Me and ol' Betty are doing really well getting reacquainted and we have gotten to spend lots of time with an old friend Mr. Seem Ripper as well. Almost finished with #2 , Just need to add the velcro. Have to go pick some up, dont like what I have, its not sturdy enough.

I got the sewing bug now for sure. Need more practice on just the right and best way to do things but Im happy with the way they turned out. I had a few wiggly lines but nothing too noticeable .

This is a little off topic, but would love to see a picture of your card, Donna! (I've been busy making cards lately, also. ) Also, Happy Anniversary to your folks. Mine are celebrating their 62nd tomorrow, so it sounds like our folks are about the same age.

Oh wow that is so cool about you folks, did you make them a card also.


I will post it on FB probably tomorrow, or Monday. did you know by accident I deleted the old picture of my parents, I got so many nice comments and then instead of deleting something someone posted on my page I deleted the photo will all the comments. My cards seem to be getting worse instead of better, have you seen Aymee's paper craft section on her Yorkie to Happiness page, that is really worth looking at.

This sounds like fun. I am under a deadline to make custom outfits for a good friend's wedding for her yorkies so I am sitting out this design challenge. I will watch from afar and maybe join in next time
