I literally bought a pack of onesies (okay two packs

) and cut off the bottom part of each onesie. Then put them on the dogs. That's it! No sewing!

you can buy a set of cheap pinking shears and the cut will look all fancy and NO sewing, that is what I do for everyday shirts..LOL

another question, once you got the bottom off of the onies, isn't it still long on the puppy under the belly area, won't it get wet underneath once the puppy goes potty?

For my boys I cut the belly area a bit higher so the fabric don't touch his wee wee.. with the girls you don't have that problem..

For Rily, I cut the oneies straight all the way around. Then I cut up the side seams a couple of inches. I fold the under flap up/inside and tack to the side seams. This makes the underbelly shorter than the back. I then hem the side seams and around the back. If the shirt hangs long, then you just need to take a seam down the underside of the shirt like Michelle said.

Jada is 5lbs and if I can find preemie I buy those, otherwise the newborn size fits her if I take a seam up the middle of the underside. This makes the neck smaller and there isn't so much shirt hanging down underneath. Bogie is 7 lbs and newborn fits him also.

We would have a blast!!! I went back to Walmart this morning and bought two more designs (one for Jada and one for Bogie) and also found a halloween one that has a witch and says Mommies little witch
