Converted Onsies 2 Attachment(s) For those who like to convert onsies into cute t-shirts and dresses...Walmart has some really cute Garanimal onsies right now. I picked up three yesterday and made a cute little t-shirt dress from one of them. It took about 15 minutes to alter and make the little skirt for the dress. These are only 3.88 each:thumbup: The designs are not stamped on either, they are actually embroidered on and so vibrant and colorful!! Attachment 378985 Attachment 378986 |
How cute!! Do you want to share how you do it? :D |

I purchased newborn size onsies because they didn't have preemie. That is why I had to take so much off the underneath part (or back of the onsie) Attachment 378987 Attachment 378988 |

This is an awesome idea! So does the heart part go on the back or the top side of the pup? Sorry about the weird question! |
That seems so easy! Practicing my hemming so soon enough I should be able to make these. Can't wait! :) |

WOW!!! Adorable!!! I'm sure they're extra comfy too! |
How wide is the ruffle or skirt? Does it go all the way around the onsies? |

That is such a great idea! If I only knew how to sew...(no, really, i barely passed home-ec in school lol). I'm always in aww at the talent you all have. I love those bright colors, too! :) |
I'm not very talented, but this I am going to try. Mrs. Beasley would rather wear a t-shirt dress as to one that has Velcro on it. |
Thank you and sorry about all the questions. I am going to give this a try as I think they are super adorable and inexpensive to make. My Teeka will have so many dresses when I am done! I might even make some for the dolls for my grandchildren, using premie onsies! |
