Well, I'm really glad you found it and learned to post. I'm not that computer savvy either, that's why I wrote a sticky every time I learned how to do something!

hello there, I decided to enjoy Yorkie Talks becuase of my frineds as well. I just bought a lovely small yorkie boy from a lovely lady in Sherwood Park alberta- Samyra .
My little bo is 2 lb at 4 months old!

I am brand new to Yorkie Talk so may not be doing this correctly or posting in the correct place, so please forgive me. We recently lost our precious little 9 year old Yorkie and are beginning the search for a Yorkie puppy. I looked yesterday and was so disheartened by all of the places that seemed legit on the internet but when I arrived, turned out to really be puppy mills. Does anyone know of some reputable, honest Yorkie breeders in Oklahoma, or even nearbyby? I would so appreciate any suggestions of where to look.

Hi and welcome to Yorkietalk. I'm so sorry you lost your baby, but I'm really glad you understand the importance of finding a reputable breeder. One who not only treats her breeding dogs well, but also understands the problems with the breed and does health testing on her breeding dogs. I always recommend the breeders who belong to the mother club the YTCA. These breeders are breeding for the right reasons, and often have gorgeous dogs that can’t make it to the ring for one reason or another, but make wonderful healthy pets. There are a couple of members who live in Oklahoma. Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club Best of luck in finding your new baby. I think it's really important to always visit the home in person, so you will know you aren't buying from a puppy mill.

Hi i am new to Yorkie Talk and also am finding it a little difficult getting around. But there is help here and I'm sure I will learn. I love what I have seen so far.
I have a question and hope its ok to write it here.
Once I have logged in and am replying to someones post.or writing my own ..I write my message and when I

click post quick reply or post..my post disappears..I have no idea where it went if anywhere and the sign in box appears and saids I must sign in when I already did. is this the same question as above and means its 'timed out'? I didnt know that existed? Also I am never sure if my post did go through so I don't write again and nothing happenes? Confused! thank you.. Ave

Yes, I think that's the same thing as timed out. If it posted, you should see it on the thread. One thing you can do is click, "Stay connected" when you sign in. I never sign out. Also, if you are writing a long reply, it's a good idea to write it in word processing and just copy and paste the reply on the message board. It's awful losing those long replies!

I remember having this problem, there are two ways to find the threads you have responded to. First way is to go to you home page, called your profile page, http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/member.php?u=13858 and look under "statistics". You find all the threads you created and all the posts you've made. The second way to find your posts will be to go to "Use CP". This is located in the blue strip at the far left. Click on that http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/usercp.php and you will see all the threads you are subscribed to. If someone has posted after you, it will show up on that page. If you see no threads you are subscribed to, you might want to go to this page: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pro...do=editoptions and look for "Default Thread Subscription Mode". There are many choices, and you can even have email notification if you want. I choose "No email notivacation", my box got too bogged down, but I still can go to "user CP" and see all the threads I'm subscribed to.
