sorry the breeder of the bulldog is handing you a line. As was quoted in the previous post and as long as both parents are of the same breed, both registered with AKC on full registration, not limited regsitration, the litter and puppies can be registered.

My concern would be that he has obviously not studied pedigrees and has no idea about breeding specimens of the breed that complement each other in order to improve the breed...

| I was lucky with Piper I found him at a breeders for $150, because he was older. Now Penny on the other hand was expensive. You can find what you're looking for if you're patient. Just be real careful of scams. Make sure you either have the puppy in your hand, or only put a deposit down before you pay somebody for a pup. Also, theres a few people on here trying to rehome there babys. You might try them.

Hi, I live in Jacksonville, FL and recently bought a male puppy from one of my co-workers. The puppy does not have any papers, though my "friend" says he is full-bred. We have been calling him Ace and he is absolutely adorable. Unfortunetly, I did my research on yorkies after I purchased him instead of before and I'm afraid he is the not the right match for my family. See, I have a six year old and a 17 month old and both my husband and I work full-time. To tell the truth, we are not ready for a dog at this time. I paid $400 for him and he has had his first set of shots. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will send you some pictures and answer any questions you might have.

Do not give up on finding a Yorkie puppy for $300. Granted, not many will be available but I recently knew of someone selling her AKC puppies (3 males) for $300 each just to get rid of them. Her female bred to her male by accident. Then she gave away the female because she was wanting her male the most. Also, I have seen owners that decided they did not want a Yorkie and sold it for lesser amounts to get rid of it as long as it was a good home. Some of these were still young and smaller. Run your ad in local American classifieds (ads are not expensive in that one) and you will eventually get a Yorkie. It won't be by your hubby's birthday, but keep looking. I have been offered two yorkies in last couple yrs. where owners were moving or something. Don't give up.

Don't rush into buying a puppy, as I did, and I came across a lot of scams. Just take your time, I turned down one puppy before I got Dakota, because I knew that she wasn't the right one for me .
