Do not give up on finding a Yorkie puppy for $300. Granted, not many will be available but I recently knew of someone selling her AKC puppies (3 males) for $300 each just to get rid of them. Her female bred to her male by accident. Then she gave away the female because she was wanting her male the most. Also, I have seen owners that decided they did not want a Yorkie and sold it for lesser amounts to get rid of it as long as it was a good home. Some of these were still young and smaller. Run your ad in local American classifieds (ads are not expensive in that one) and you will eventually get a Yorkie. It won't be by your hubby's birthday, but keep looking. I have been offered two yorkies in last couple yrs. where owners were moving or something. Don't give up.
