| Thank you for being so nice I really don't pay attention to people like her any way. I know in my heart that I love my dog. I have been raising dogs for around 20 yrs. different breeds. I knew I was taken a chance with Romie but she end up be a surgant mother. The mother of the puppie had a puppie die in side of her and two of the three puppies died. The mother became toxic so the mother died. We all cried around here. Our dogs are like our kids. Romie is just one of those kind of dogs that need to be in a home where she is by her self. But people like that lady are quick to judge other when they need to look at her self before judging others. I have a yorkie that has three leg because his mother was bitting his cord and bit his back leg off. He has been fixed he is just a pet. But we love just the same. |

For example, I myself would like to know why this poster has had the need to rehome 4 ADULT dogs??? I would also like to know where she was when the mother dog bit off the babies leg instead of its umbilical cord? The statement below alone screamed red flag to me. "no I got her from a freind I traded a small female for her the other one was to small to breed. So I ws looking for a bigger female. But I breed her and she didn't have anything." Now.. who trades and rehomes adult dogs? Instead of jumping on someone who is obviously concerned for the welfare of the dog it might be time to give that some serious thought.

I read the links - they don't add up at all. I saw she was saying they were having hard times and in each thread she said they're selling ONE dog -but there are now 4 threads with older dogs being sold - I guess they're being replaced by smaller yorkies maybe ? Too bad for these yorkies but I have a feeling they'll end up in some great homes that they'll live their whole life in rather than be traded around and or sold. Sorry - but that's my feelings - I feel bad for anyone on hard times but I think this is a case of "lets kick them to the curb and get new breeding 'stock'." GOOD LUCK TO the yorkies ! Hope they find great homes - I really do -

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It's almost getting to where we need something that states when a pet IS really a PET for sale ....and a breeding dog For Sale is getting rehomed for whatever reasons....because I kept seeing this person say her dogs for sale are 'PETS' when in reality - they've all been used to breed and sell puppies. Studs do not make the best Pets for the unspecting person who wants to buy an older male - so maybe people should state in the for sale threads their real reasons for selling ? I can understand rehoming and in many cases it IS in the best interest of the dogs....like this thread - but to the person who is looking for a PET - they should know the facts up front |

| I'm not sure what the solution is here. This is obviously a breeder who may not meet the standards that we would all love to see. Especially me since I would like to see about 95% of all dogs neutered- lol. However, she is trying to find good homes for the dogs she doesn't want to keep or else she wouldn't be posting on YT. She has been honest in saying that she wants to find the dog homes because they are not productive in her business.Which would be better for the dogs- to run her off so that she sells to even less stringent breeders who may continue to breed them until they die or to hopefully find some kind soul on here who is willing to give them a good home? I still feel like $500 is a little high to ask someone to give them a good home but I have heard that if you don't ask enough you will get people that won't take care of them. I almost wish there was some type of YT Rescue group where breeders such as this could give their dogs to prescreened YTers who are kind enough to take them in. I have heard horror stories of breeders who could not sell their retired dogs just killing them and I don't even mean euthanizing them. How can we help the dogs without promoting the problem? |
