She is very sweet her only problem is she don't like other dogs she want to fight with them. I really don't want to fine a new home for her but right now I have to keep a muzzle on her to keep her from hurting my other dogs. But love kids and loves to ride in the car. I wish I could fine a home for her where she will be loved and be the only dog in the home where she can be spoiled. :( :( :(

no I got her from a freind I traded a small female for her the other one was to small to breed. So I ws looking for a bigger female. But I breed her and she didn't have anything.

So Too OLD to breed (8!!) was better than too small to breed? Glad to see you have morals. BTW in the pic she appears to have milk, are you sure she isn't pregnant? Maybe spaying her before she leaves you would be a good plan to make sure someone who doesn't have the "morals" you do wouldn't breed her, as she is way too old.

Wow, that was harsh for someone knowing very little backround on the situation or the dog. I don't believe she said she bred the dog at 8 years old, she could have, but you assumed she did without asking or thinking. And even if she did breed the dog at that age, we can educate people without being rude or condeming them. Otherwise, no one will want to learn anything or admit or except their faults as they will be afraid they will just get beaten down. Alot of people are just uneducated, rather than bashing them for it, why don't we try our best to educate the person so they can make the right decisions and we don't have to be mean to do that. :)

thank you I did breed her but she didn't have any thing she had a false pregnancy. My son dog had a puppie the week before and she died after having a c-setion romie took over feeding the puppie and is raising as her own that is why it looks like she has milk. I told the vet and he could believe she was doing that. I have raise puppies on a bottle and mothers milk is always better for them. I have been raising dogs for yrs. I will have spayed after she has raised this puppie. I know it not safe for a dog to have false pregnancy that it can cause cancer.

I understand that everyone has their opinions as far as breeding ages for female dogs. However, the AKC states its standards as follows:

Chapter 3, Section 5 of the Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline reads as follows:
"No dog or litter out of a dam under eight (8) months or over twelve (12) years of age at the time of mating, or by a sire under seven (7) months or over twelve (12) years of age at the time of mating, will be registered unless the application for registration shall be accompanied by an affidavit or evidence which shall prove the fact to the satisfaction of The American Kennel Club."

Personally, I would not breed a female at the age of 12 but, it is still ethical and morally correct according to the AKC standards.......... At least she is telling the truth and not trying to hide anything. Good Luck on finding her a new home.
