I understand why you are so careful with your lines, but not all of us are going to turn around and stab you in the back.
I think that if you go back and read the ad, the dog she has posted is not from her breedings, he just didn't have the look they wanted, so is it wrong to post a dog for sale on this forum because it has CH lines, that it might be a great asset to someone elses family? What happened to the "breeders helping other breeders" Seems like all that some of you are doing is condeming.
Oh and by the way, back to the breeders helping other breeders, Yorkie Rose(FL) or DazzlinYT(TN) either one of you know of someone that lives somewhat near AL that would teach me proper show grooming-topknots, ect.
Unfortunatly WV is just to far for me to go at this time.

Okay Kim..for the sake of agruing..lets say the YTCA is a total screw up and not worth the paper it is printed on...then as ethically breeders it our responsibility on our own to protect the breed, we set our own standards of ethic's each day we stay in the breed...no one needs a club to tell them the correct things to do..

YT is not the place to advertize pups..show or pet. It is just my opinion and take it for what it is worth...there are too many unethcial breeders who come here and "prey" on innocent, unknowning pet lovers, feed them a line of bull and rob their pockets. If I owned this site, I would refuse ads...it is amazing they have not been sued over some of the crap pulled on members here.

ARE YOU SERIOUS ??? What are you thinking ? The Reputiable breeder could work overtime , and does , on education , and mentoring , only to be hit in the face when the BYB comes in and sells all they can for thw MONEY - no thought of the breed , or the genetics, only the cash ! Come on now place the guilt trip where it belongs, back on the those who care nothing for the breed, those who do not want to be members of any governing association for fear of restrictions to the freedom of place em high ~!

Pat this I will agree with, the YTCA screams from their podium DO NOT SUPPORT the BYB, Pat you know this first hand, if I recall you mentioned you were shunned from the YTCA because you stood in defense of the BYB.

Pat you are discounting the sense and sensibility of many YT members. Most members have been screwed or ignored by breeders that ARE NOT members (some become members to defend themself and quickly run away)

One thing mentioned earlier ....YT should only let members with a certain amount of posts - posts in the for sale forum, this I totally agree with, perhaps admin should take heed, this would weed out the ones that are only here to peddle pups!

So if you show after thousand of dollars and restrict the rest where do you give space for bigginers to join the bus. You are one of those who only places you full reg dogs with a network of know breeders. You where once given a chance also by Laurie Hunter to own what you have now. Who was to say you where or wheren't worthy of a Nik Nak Yorkshire Terrier.

Are you saying that if you don't belong to an association that you care nothing for the breed? Are you also saying that members of the YTCA do not place some of their stock at high prices? I know that I have seen several YTCA member's websites that not only advertise pups for sale with pictures, but some even price their pups according to size.

I'm pretty new here, but I can see by just reading, usually don't reply, that there are a few people that have real issues and try to drag everyone down to their level.

If this makes you feel powerful you need help, this is very sad to see someone reaching out like this for attention. Sometimes when people feel inferior, or have a feeling of not being useful, they will continually condemn those that they feel inferior to.

I feel very sorry for you,

There is noyhing wrong with posting information as such. What about it show a sense of feeling inferior. It is offering numbers of those who work to educate about the breed to see if they are really accessible and willing ot share their knowledge. Stop with your inferior superior nonsense. Why did you jump on to make this person feel inferior didn't you? I guess it put you on the same float. You need to stop drowning in a cup of water.

What kind of replies???? Have you actually called a show exhibitor in your area and asked to be mentored?? Are you going by what you have asked on here or has someone you contacted actually said to you that they would not help you learn?

Speaking only from personal experience I have found show exhibitors MORE than happy to share information and mentor a serious person.
But if they see this that has been written here it wouldn't surprise me one bit if I found they were less than willing to help from now on.

I dont understand your post at all...feel inferior? because of posting a YTCA list in Alabama?

I am not on any particular side of this argument. I also am not sticking up for Prestigeous Yorkies either. But I will add I do not believe that Deana and Leo are lining their pockets with tons of cash from dog sales. They do have a handler show their yorkies and David is NOT CHEAP! Does that make it right for them to misrepresent a dog to get it sold? NO!
