No, the biewer has got over 3 different breeds in it. They have done dna tests on them, they have papillon, shih tzu, chi's and I believe yorkie and maltese, and not sure whatever else in them. As far as biewers, they have to have certain colors here and there, to where the parti doesn't. I think most parti breeders, as well as most biewer breeders, can tell the difference. A parti yorkie is just that, a parti yorki, a biewer on the other hand has been proven to be their own separate breed!

That all depends on the club you ask , and only some peoples "biewers" were "tested" and the tests used are still in question as to validity so stating "facts" based on incomplete info is not a good idea

The Biewer has a standard 4 white legs, chest, white tail or tip, and tri colored on head in symetry. The Biewer also has a full tail, the parti is docked.
The Parti doesn't have a standard yet.


Sorry to the Original poster for all the chatter on your thread. Your little girl is beautiful and I too, agree that people can ask for whatever price they want when selling a puppy. If I don't agree or want to pay that price,then I just go elsewhere, no need for all the comments about what you should pay

I LOVE her and I think she is just beautiful and precious. She reminds me of Izzy. I wish I could afford one now but I can't and I hope you find her a forever home. Spartan is also gorgeous.

I have a tiny Yorkie as well and she is 2-1/2 and just now 3#. I got her from a very reputable breeder that also shows Yorkies and trust me I paid a good penny for her as well.

As far as biewers/ partis. Partis can be registered with AKC, but, why does that matter, they can't be shown. As far as biewers, the BTCA is working very hard on getting them registered with the AKC, infact, Karl Yokem who is over AKC was at the Orlando show judging the first week of this month and so he saw our biewers first hand. They will one day, I will bet my life on it, be registered with AKC. I would pay more for a new breed that they have proven to be a breed of their own, before I would pay a lot of $ for a dog that is AKC but with faults.

I'm sorry, (maybe I am blinded by her beauty,) but I don't see any faults! She is beautiful and worth every penny.

I'm by no means saying she's not pretty, she is. I love dogs, but, I don't feel any dog is worth $5000(not a pet anyway), but, that's just me. And everyone has an opinion. I never said myself it was a fault, I'm going by what AKC says is a fault

Facts have nothing to do with which club a person belongs to. The Mars test is 86% accurate, and has used the DNA of PUREBRED dogs to develop the test. Does one really think that the test was developed using the DNA of a bunch of mutts?

There are only a small number of people that are challenging the validity of the scientific data used by Mars Veterinary. There are also a small number of people that think we evolved from apes.

Just about every line coming from Germany was tested regardless of what club has them. I really can't think of a line that hasn't been tested. The standard of the Biewer is not what sets it apart from a Parti Yorkie, it's the chromosomes that distinguish the difference. Test some of those Parti's and who knows what will turn up.

In the last 100 years of the Yorkie you have seen VERY, VERY, VERY few Yorkies that had large amounts of white on them, yet now in the last couple of years we have 30 or more breeders that are saying every dog they produce is a parti carrier. Makes a person wonder where all these parti genes come from.

Like wise in Germany in 2002 there were about 5 or 6 Biewer breeders that only had a couple of breeding dogs, but by the end of 2004 there were 30 breeders. HMMMMM, where did all the Biewers come from.

So if they have all this in them then their a mix right? and how do they come out with the exact same markings? when you mix two dogs you either get one look or the other from one or both of each breeds. Sorry I dont know much about parti or biewers never heard of either one before coming to YT. just trying to understand. but again they are both beautiful dogs.

Most purebred dogs are the products of the constructive breeding of 3 or more dogs. Breeding 2 dogs together, is a designer dog and no more than a mutt.
