| You can still register a dog with a fault, a fault can be alot of things ie... A yorkie that stays black or has an overbite or unlevel top line... the list can go on and on, all are still regiserable but not going to be showable.

| Absolutely beautiful. However, $5000? That's crazy.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | She is so pretty but I believe $5000 is too much, maybe $3000, not but not 5, she is small but breeders should not be charging more for smaller dogs as that is a default, they should charge less. Her brother is also adorable tho. Good luck!

| You are right, biewers and partis are two totally different dogs. A parti is a yorkie with what the AKC considers a fault, a biewer is a breed of their own, which the BTCA is trying very hard to get them recognized by AKC. So, that really doesn't answer my question as to why they would go for more $ than the biewer, as the biewer isn't a yorkie with a fault. Also, I agree with mizz, as the smaller ones can occasionally have more problems, so, should actually be sold for less in my opinion |

| The price set for this baby is her breeder's decision. However, whether or not she carrys her brother's "gold" gene is irrelevant since she is too small and is going to be spayed. I don't think that should be a factor in determining her price. juliet |

| this baby is gorgeous but i agree she is too expensive. of course, being a breeder myself, I do feel that it is the breeders choice to ask what he/she wants to and feels is a fair price. people can buy the pup or look elsewhere. That being said, if I were looking for a pup, I would run from any breeder that uses size as a way to charge more money. |

| I think the price is a bit much. but I agree its her dog so she can ask the price she wants. may or may not get it. But I feel the little ones should be more. This reason only becaue they are so much more care and need to go into the hands of some one who knows more about these tinys. so I would sell my smaller ones more then the reg ones if I breed yorkies. I would also pay more for a parti then I would a biewer but only because The parti is reg with AKC. but they are both beautiful and Id love to have both . |

As far as biewers/ partis. Partis can be registered with AKC, but, why does that matter, they can't be shown. As far as biewers, the BTCA is working very hard on getting them registered with the AKC, infact, Karl Yokem who is over AKC was at the Orlando show judging the first week of this month and so he saw our biewers first hand. They will one day, I will bet my life on it, be registered with AKC. I would pay more for a new breed that they have proven to be a breed of their own, before I would pay a lot of $ for a dog that is AKC but with faults. | |
