I've talked to several show breeder's about the tail issue and they said that unfurtunately with a long tail a yorkie does not finish. So that being said I'll be taking my chances that hopefully she will be show quality, so she will get her tail docked this week. I really don't like the idea and I pray to God that she does well. They will be doing the lazer procedure and hopefully she'll do fine.

| Hello Angel Mia! Yes I know Mrs Piros she has got beautifull dogs. Is it a girl of her Scouby?? I hope too your little girl will do well and that she will wear her tail afterwards in the correct way. But I think so. Good luck for the operation and please post much pictures of her in the future soon, that we can see her grow and becoming more and more a fency show girl. |

| Yes, she is a daughter of Scouby. I am so glad you think she has beautiful dogs, I also think so.Monique has come out of her shell, she is not shy what so ever anymore and she went to her first conformation class yesterday. A born natural on her lead! I will take more photos of her and for sure I will post them. |

| I have learned a lot from reading these posts Greetings Yorkies lovers: I want to show Yorkies and I realize that it takes a lot of patience and committment. I am reading books and looking at sites and learning. Could anyone recommend a really good book on showing Yorkies. I believe if you dream something you could do it. It will take a while but I am a patient student. |

When I got my 1st show Yorkie, he was getting the best of me so my Pom friend told me what I needed to do. To be honest, pick out a great mentor to work with you, that is the best thing you will ever do in Yorkies. I was very fortunate in my mentors. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to post me.

| I wonder if I could show my Jazzy. I think she looks show material but I wouldn't know I just wanted a pet. |

| Me too....wanting show prospect Angel, I am also trying to get into the show ring. I am searcing for my first puppy bitch. Been looking for about a year. I have learned a lot and went to shows to see what to expect, although I showed years ago.... Why did you choose to get a yorkie over seas? I wish there were an easier way of finding the right puppy. Thanks, Shirley |

| Because unfortunately there wasn't an easier way to get one in the U.S, I had been looking for awhile and my friend bumped into these breeder which has trusted me with her. I've been blessed! It's yet to be known until a few more months to see if she is show quality but so far so good,. |

| Your little girl is very beautiful and I bet the pic does not do her justice. Did I miss the info about whether or not she is eligible for registration with AKC? I am assuming you plan to show her in the AKC sanctioned shows..It is a shame to dock her tail at this age....but ya gotta follow the standard if you want to show her to her full potential... |

Thanks for the complement! She's even prettier now! LOL She is FCI, I already sent out the foreign registration with her ped. Hope everything comes back ok, AKC did tell me I can transfer her. And yes it was a shame having to dock her tail, it broke my heart! But, you got to do what you got to do if you want to show. She really did great though, you have no idea how I prayed that she wouldn't go through to much pain, and she did just that!
