Patience, you said the right thing, as that is very important in the world of showing dogs. You have to have patience in finding a great show dog. You have to have patience in training. I could go on, but as for a good book. Well there could be something out that I am not familiar with. When I started there was not.
When I got my 1st show Yorkie, he was getting the best of me
so my Pom friend told me what I needed to do. To be honest, pick out a great mentor to work with you, that is the best thing you will ever do in Yorkies. I was very fortunate in my mentors. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to post me.
