When I got my 1st show Yorkie, he was getting the best of me so my Pom friend told me what I needed to do. To be honest, pick out a great mentor to work with you, that is the best thing you will ever do in Yorkies. I was very fortunate in my mentors. I recommend Cher as a mentor for Yorkshire Terriers. She knows her stuff!! And makes no compromises when it comes to health in her breeding program!!
