No, it's not an unattainable color. But it comes with a price. If breeders concentrate on color it's at the expense of structure and attitude. Many of the dogs shown in the UK are examples of that. You haven't a clue what goes into breeding a competitive and healthy yorkshire terrier. How easy you have it...just breed for white patches. |
"Just breed for white patches" you say? LOL...you couldn't be farther from the truth with ignorant statements such as these. Even though it is none of your business...my parti male is bile acid tested normal, OFA for patella's and is CERF normal for 2010.
He is micro chipped, and DNA'd with the AKC and has beautiful structure. He will be the foundation for my show prospects in the future. I spent years looking for a parti this nice that had a good bite, both testicles down, tight knee's, good conformation. And then held my breath as he matured and was health tested. It was a long jouney on my part. Tammy can testify to that!! She helped me through a few heartaches along the way.
I am just as proud of him as you are of whatever it is you own and breed. So please think before you type such nonsense. |
