The so what part is if these lines are all so protected, how in the heck are we all seeing them in our pedigrees, even in the 3rd generation on an AKC ped?

Nope, I did not get one the "backdoor" way as you call it. I was clear of my intentions, paid cash, and there you have it. Well a few are CH lakewood Ringmaster, Lake Buena Vista Sazon, Camparis Blueprint(multinational champion), Rhapsody in Blue.....

Ummm what are you accusing me of? I have bought every single one of my dogs from their breeders. Paid in full and with full AKC rights. I have no idea how she obtained her dogs but seems like Marshall was bought and paid for from the post, and from her friend.
There are champions out there to be bought. Period. Open your eyes and look right here on YT 2 members I have seen in the last 3 weeks have even posted about them...well 3 counting this one. So is this a new epidemic?

You seem to have completely missed my point. I wasn't speaking in general terms. How or why you breed is none of my business. If you do things ethically, good for you. Marshall's case is 100% different from someone getting a dog from line x through the proper means. Marshall was passed around like a hand me down rag doll. No ethical breeder would want that for their pup, and I bet you anything that Marshall's breeder thought that would never happen to one of her own. Now, the person who has Marshall now, knowing how Marshall ended up at her door step, really out of respect for the breeder should reach out to her. I'm pretty sure she now knows that this isn't the life that was envisioned for Marshall, and out of respect for all the work Marshall's breeder put into him she should reach out to his breeder. That was all I was trying to say.

I don't know much about the show world, or breeding for that matter. This case is more about common sense and decency that a discussion about "back door" purchases.

Well my heart goes out to Marshall. He was the one bounced around like a commodity and I do hope that he is now in a home that taking good care of him, playing ball, cuddling, scratching, etc. That is what matters most, not someones tarnished reputation.

Really? Was saving $25 / litter + $2/pup really that much of a money saver? The pups in question are still a grand a piece.

This post? I was just looking through some of the posts too. What's up with idea that there are "foster homes" and when the females are ready to breed they are left with her? Is that just a way of having high numbers of breeding dogs and not taking full responsibility and then making big money? Who is this Javier in Argentina? I think I remember someone getting a little Maltese from him last year that was very tiny and sick when she arrived here.

The thread said that he is a breeder from Argentina and was able to Ch this dog in a couple of weekends. :rolleyes: I guess yorkielady06 is right - if you have a big enough check book you can buy anything - including a CH'd dog... if you want him that way - and obviously the only reason she wants him is so she can sell his pups using that title! :thumbdown

Guess it's why she's so headstrong on defending the right to buy a CH'd dog without having anything to do with getting it there (in the ring). $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I am not her. I purchased 2 puppies from her so I put the pups pic up and the moms pic up. The mother is Scarlette and the father is Lion. The puppies are right on my page as you look. One is Simba and the other is Sassy....

Sorry but I do not own Lion. Nor do I own Scarlett. But they are both beautiful dogs in MY opinion. Like I said, I purchased 2 pups from them and they are on my furbabies page. You are welcome to see them there. I do not have a website.

What the bottom line is When Rosemark sold Marshall with full breeding rights and no contract then the purchaser/owner can do anything she wants to with said dog. There was no Contract.
So by that, then she could do anything she wanted to with the dog.
Since there was no contract how can you blame someone for purchasing him?

True, and this should be a reminder that even when you are selling a dog to what you think is a good friend and reputable breeder, you should have a contract. A person's word use to mean something, sad to say, sometimes a piece of paper means more, at least there is some recourse.

Hello I have been on here for a bit now. WOW I have to say I bought a Marshall Dillon Sired Female Puppy from Susie and Love her. She is the Best Furry Child Ever. She came to me well groomed and we are so Happy to have her. I'm Proud to say shes my Baby.She is a very Loving Dog for sure.She sleeps in my Bed at night with me and her other Furry Friends. I think Susie is a Very Nice Lady who truley Loves her dogs. I even named are Baby Crestwings Godess of Love ( Lovey ). The day I flew up to get her. Was the best day ever to bring are baby home. She is now 8 months old and doing GREAT. She will be added to my very tiny scale breeding Program of AKC Lined Yorkies And AKC Parti Yorkies and Tan Parti Yorkies here in Orlando,Fl. I think Great things can come in a small scale way. I'm Home with my Furry Kids All Day. they are very Loved and Spoiled in are Family Home ; )) I LOVE YORKIES !! I cant believe she sold you a bitch with an open registration. :( This is whole situation is just a torn in my side. So sad. You also breed Parti's and what the heck is a tan parti? Not on the attack of breeding parti's but this one just seems to make my stomach sour. :mad:
