I've yet to place a dog in tact or on spay/nueter contract with anyone that has broken the trust I have in them.

The one person I placed a dog in tact with is in weekly contact with me, does not make any final decisions without getting my approval or my mentor's. I operate in the same manner with any dogs that I've obtained from other breeders; contract or no contract. Integrity, honesty are qualities that one is born with, they can't be taught.

Wow I have to say you come across a bit judgmental regarding the Marshall situation. Maybe you should remember when you point a finger at someone you have 3 fingers pointing back at yourself. Using words like "dealt" with ...you should be ashamed of yourself. Remember someday you will meet your maker and you to will be Dealt with !

JenCar is who I am talking to postings as you would say "APPALLING" and maybe you should look in the mirror it is people like you that as you would say you and " this situation has the potential to be a bad mark against exhibitor/breeders and rescues!"

It really angers me that you and others are more worried about a reputation then weither or not Marshall is in a loving home forever. I am sure if Marshall could talk he would say you should be ashamed. Oh and believe me I understand a breeders reputation. Put facts are facts if you produce beautiful top quality show dogs that people want that is what matters most in the show world.

My first post on that thread, I believe I might have been the first and only member to bring up concerns about Marhall and his future in that thread.

Also, I wasn't even the one who used the phrase "dealt with" on this thread.......you need to get your facts straight before you come on and start bashing/judging anyone here!!!

Btw....I AM sure if Marshall could talk it would not be me that he is appalled at and ashamed of......and I think you owe me an apology! As I look in the mirror everyday and am certainly not appalled as you suggested I should be....I have a good and kind heart....AND,...it is reflected back to me in the mirror each morning when I look:)

I think that we have to go out on a limb and trust some, but every time we do, there is a chance that the trust can be broken. So you can't judge a breeder as doing the wrong thing when they trusted someone that they thought were trustworthy because the only way to prevent it from happening is to never place an intact dog. Good breeders do their best, but there are always thorns in a rose bush.

It appears you are very unaware of the facts surrounding this entire
situation, however there are those of us who are and it's not an ideal or ethical situation.

You seem to also be unaware of the rules and regulations that are envolved when becoming a member of a regional breed club or a national club. Yes, one signs papers to uphold the bylaws, ethics and conduct and what each club stands for. If one doesn't then one deals with the consequences.

You've take offense to my attempt to educate those that are interest of how a club operates and the steps that are taken in situations like this. Your reaction speaks volumes.

You're right and really wish Marshall had the ability to speak/act in his own behalf. In 3 seperate homes since October; 2 of which have only the goal on capitilizing on his Championship and background. One I we know had in excess of 30 dogs, not all of one breed. This is the home he's in now. He also was kept in a barn during the winter months.

But, lets not excuse the original owner that sold him, all in the name of money.

Although steps will be taken through the breed clubs. I would like to see a good old fashioned, "take them out and lench 'em"......then let little Marshall do a leg lift on them! I have zero tolerance for this kind of thing! It does certainly show people why obtaining a dog from a reputable exhibitor / breeder has become so difficult. So much damage in so many ways. My heart goes out to Rosanne who is one of the most reputable breeders anyone could hope to know.

I really don't understand your anger with JenCar... what does she have to do with the situation at hand? She's not the breeder, exhibitor, seller or buyer - so why are you angry with her?

I guess it's just me but when I look at this situation - I don't see it as just one thing. It has to do with what's happened to this dog - with the people doing this - what they had promised to do (code of conduct).

I agree with code of conduct . However, when people slam each other on the internet I believe it is wrong. If the YTCA members have a problem with how a breeder acquired a dog then they should take it up as a club, or talk on the phone in private.But to say all these things when do we really know that they are all true. If people do not have all the true facts they should be cautious in what they say or they will find themselves in legal hot water. Well you should have brought it to YTCA attention first before putting it on here, and as you said you should have "dealt with" this matter in private as a club. THIS YORKIE TALK. NOT YTCA TALK.Using peoples legal names and kennel names on here is wrong and you should tread carefully before you find yourself in possible legal hotwater. You never know who your talking to or who is reading this. If your child, spouse, friend, co worker etc went on a chat forum and put your information out there how would you feel? What about Code of conduct or Code of Ethics? If the public whats to be educated on how YTCA operates they can visit the website. WOW Maybe you should have meet first before saying all of these things so publicly and maybe in the code of conduct you may want to add not just show sites but any public form that deals with Yorkshire Terriers....#12 Members realize that they represent the dog fancy in general and Yorkshire Terriers specifically to the general public. Members will act in a professional and good sportsmanlike manner at all times and will respect the rules of hotels/motels, other show sites and of all show sponsors.

As for below the belt...what ohters are doing on here using peoples legal names and kennel names is below the belt and unethical. This is not the forum to be doing such a thing. People should be careful writing things about others if they do not have all the facts or know the person they are speaking about they could find themselves in a legal situation they may not want to be in. I am just wondering. All of you such as Elle ,Mardelin ,Manolos Mom and others that felt the need to talk about Crestwing and Diane and Stephanie do you know them all personally? Not do you know one of them, I would like to know if you know each person you decided to write about? Are you sure of all you facts and statements? If you don't could you please enlighten me as why you felt you had the right to write the things you did? I can say I dont know them but I think it is wrong to run around on a public forum speaking about people and disrespecting there character. I ask how would you feel if this was being done to you. All because one person was happy about owning Marshall. DO you think if she wanted to hide it she would have come on YT and posted it. If she was a bad person and she thought she had done something unethic do you believe she would have posted about it? Could it just be possible that she was happy about it and wanted others to be happy for her? Maybe she wanted to share her joy. If you thought she did not go about it in the best way, any or all of you could have sent her a private message on YT . You did not have to do what you did in such a public way. Also you could have written to each other about it privately. I think it would be nice to say you are sorry to Crestwing and the others that you slammed. What I will say to Crestwing is I am happy for you and I am happy that Marshall gives you so much joy. Its funny that all this talk about poor Marshall being treated so poorly....facts are he is a furry baby... however some of you treat humans badly as we can see by what has been written by some of you... so maybe we should wonder how you treat your furry babies, if you don't even know how to treat a fellow human being. Do you think only furry babies have feelings do you think these ladies you felt the need to talk about as you did, do not have feelings?
