Long Tail...what do you do?

This is how I handle my life now and forever.

Loving the direction in which my life is going. Thanking God for being such a wonderful CO-Pilot. Such a nice feeling to have a real sense of peacefulness in your heart. Not allowing others to bring you down.

In general, in our lives their is always an overabundance people always trying to judge you, and that is not their job!

Thanks...I suppose that you noticed I politely asked to borrow your quote and reposted it on my Facebook. It was just what I needed to hear. Isn't God wonderful. Thanks again to all of you for your support. I hope everyone has a blessed day and that includes those whose opinions differ from mine. It is not my place to judge and I won't. Giving it to God!

Now on a lighter subject....I am so excited about New York. I can't wait. I am going to see if any of the Yorkshire Terriers there have long tails. That would be a great place to see if any are competing with full tails....WooHoo Bring on New York.

I think tails are the BEST.
And a long tail will be required for my next addition

I like that quote also..but I perfer God to be the pilot and I am the co-pilot. His vision is perfect..He knows where I am going, how to get there, keeps me safe along the journey...I never want to "fly my own plane" when Father can make no mistakes...I make many!

I've actually only seen one yorkie with a tail in NY and that was last year....it's not seen much at least since I've been going since 2005

Pat I agree. I am just so use to hearing and seeing the saying CO-Pilot.
He is the BEST and will not lead you wrong, thats for sure!!

I have been checking in on facebook and YT at lunch, I live 5 minutes from my house. So I get to come home for lunch with the Yorkies

Well for my two cents worth .. or 1/2 penny given inflationary times. I really do prefer a docked tail. I know that the breeders do dock very early in the pups life. I'm from Canada and I know across all the breeds they are looking at the docking issue ... because some European Countries and members of FCI have now determined that docking can't be done.

I just don't get it. Why we can't dock but in many countries people abusing animals etc, get a proverbial slap on the wrist.

I have to agree, I prefer the tail docked as well. Some of the breeds don't look at all the same natural. The dobie loses his regal look with floppy ears and a whippy tail, he looks more like a hound.

I so agree about the Dobie!! While I like a dobie with natural ears I prefer the cropped ear on the Dobie because they are so regal and gorgeous with that strong appearance and that would be my next breed of choice! I love the Dobie's as much as the yorkies and also the pembroke welsh corgi...guess I tend to like the breeds that require cropping and docking

me too. Our other breed is Black Russian Terrier. We have a male with a docked tail and a female with undocked tail. Much prefer the docked look. Also worried one day she is going to break that tail. I've heard lots of stories about tails getting injured.

Hello, I can say the same as Kicki. My first yorkie female had docked tail but I was very glad that ,when my first litter was born ,the FCI (this is the european cynological federation) made change in the rules and breeder could decide what to do with tails. And I decide to not cut as many breeders in Poland.In the beginning we didn't know haw to prepare those long tails - cut the hear on it or what...And that's true, the spaniels,terriers,schnauzers and other were looking little strange but I founded them ok very quick.And since those few years it is just normal view for yorkies to have a long tail.And ,really it is looking absolutely normal and nice.
