You're very new and there's a lot of history with all of us....we know each other personally and are YT friends......all of us.....and the attempt is to get Barb back in the ring........If Barb has a problem with us she knows how to take care of herself and tell us off, she's done it before as we all have.

| Back on Topic :) This thread got me to thinking.....To the spectors that come and watch the show and it seems there is no congratulations going on as I think I said in a previous post a lot of it's done back at the set up, hotel, at dinner ect...I know when I show I'm not watching hardly any of the other classes because I am concentrating on my own dog that I'm showing. I do congratulate while in the ring on those who win because I was taught it was professional and sportmans like and it's the right thing to do I know at times I can personally seem rude and down right mean or nasty but it's only when someone has crossed a line, treated a friend badly ( I do stand behind my friends ). I admit if anyone says anything wrong about my family, dogs, friends yeah I can be down right mean and nasty but I always have a reason behind what I do I'm not just that way for the sake of it. All you have to do is ask why I said this or that and I'd be happy to tell ya I'm really a nice person LOL but yes can be blunt but that's me But all in all what we've discussed in this thread is what happens with our great group here in our area! Once the competition is over it's really what we do and that is enjoy the company, the laughs the wins the loses and just have fun! We always discuss our yorkies and what joy they have brought us and how much fun we are having and plan our next shows. I love the group we show with because we are all in this for the love of the breed and we all have the same passion and love for yorkies Donna |

The socialization part is the 2nd reason I love showing.......even when you travel out of your area and meet up with exhibitors you haven't seen for a year......what fun & friendship.

| I have only been to 2 shows this year as a spectator and i have to say i have seen everybody congratulate one another. My eyes got all watery when Carree won with Paxton at the Dallas show man that was so exciting and everybody congratulated her, beautiful sight really. I really look forward to attending more shows and someday get the guts to go out in the ring myself. Myra |

| I don't mean to make ya homesick honey but I guess I had to make a point that sportsmanship isn't dead and friendships are made! We stick up for each other and yes there are times when there can be a conflict with one or another but we resolve it in an adult manner and move on and get over it Tina, wish you did live closer we'd all have a blast!!! Like I said, we had the best time in SA that week! Poolside chats were fun and the evening was nice it wasn't hot even in July sitting poolside LOL! |

| That was heartwarming to hear everyone cheer for her..... I also, remember Jessica winning WB at the OK City Specialty.......we were all so excited....everyone was whooping and hollering. For those that don't know Jessica is Trish Kulessa's granddaughter.....who grew up in the ring.....we've watched Jessica travel with her grandmother since she was tiny, and the first time she entered the ring......at the age of 9......She's now 13.....Now how's that for an accomplishment Winner's Bitch at a Specialty.
