| I'm so glad that Shira is becomming a carefree little Yorkie girl. She so... deserves that. She's really a sweetheart. Thanks so much for sharing those pictures with all of us.

| Bettyanne, I never heard Shira's story before now but wanted to say she is a doll. You guys are so great for coming in to these dogs lives and giving them a chance at a normal happy life that they never had the opportunity to experience or even dream about before. You have the biggest heart and I love hearing about the animals you have rescued and how they prospered in your hands. Good work and thanks for the pictures. |

| Thanks everyone! I have to say that all these babies have been fostered and nursed back to health by my friend, Trish. She has shared them with me and I cannot tell you how much I have learned. I did what little I could while living in Colorado, mostly just moral support!! Now that we have begun our little rescue, I hate being away from all the "action" but we are in touch almost every single day and I am seriously considering fostering ... I am mortified at the thought of not being near Trish if I do!! I also want to tell you the strangest thing. There have been little ones that appeared to be absolutely "unadoptable" and as soon as Patrick and I make the decision to adopt them .... out of nowhere, the most most perfect homes have appeared like miracles! The decision was up to me and I chose to let them go ... I still cry when I think of my little "Bear". It was so much better to let them go to those perfect homes, but I just get so attached. Of course, we stay in touch with them and know they are having wonderful lives ... better than we could have dreamed. I just thank God for touching wonderful people who have the capacity to love these little ones who seem so unlovable to others! The rescues are so unique and there's something so special inside these little ones. If any of you ever have the opportunity ... please consider a rescue. They didn't ask for their lot in life and they certainly never asked to be born ... not "up to the standard", too big, floppy eared, not so beautiful, not potty-trained, and the list goes on and on! Just look into those little eyes and see all the fear and pain. Give them a chance and you can witness the miracle that occurs when that beautiful little soul emerges and you find that you are fortunate enough to have chosen the most beautiful, perfect baby in the world!! Just look at Shira!!!

| BettyAnne bless you and all the other's who work miracles for these poor lost pets who can not talk for themselves. Yes, I believe in rescue totally. I tried very hard to rescue an older Yorkie 2-6yrs but got no responses from any resuce group that I applied too. Hence Buddy. I guess because I worked. Too bad really because that dog would have had it made. My past dogs were all rescue. (3)All passed from old age. I hope the creep that did that to that poor baby girl suffers in life somehow. She's a beautiful little girl. |

| She is a lucky baby to have a new mommie like you to love her. I can't believe people can hurt animals. These guys only want to love you and get loved in return. Kudos to you for giving her a great new home! |
