She beautiful and so glad she found a home with love and tenderness. Charlie is a 10 year old rescue and we have been together since April '07. What a blessing.

I just want to add that Shira today is the most precious little girl and she and Toto are "BFF" [as my grandaughter would say!].

She had a really long and painful recovery and even longer emotional recovery. She was afraid of everything and almost everybody for the longest time and it's just so heartwarming today to see her running and playing with the other Yorkies. And I must say .... she is spoiled rotten and I can't think of another one who deserves it more!!

God bless you.... I lost my rescued Angel "Bitzi Rose" 5 weeks ago to Kidney Failure. She weighed 3.14 lbs. She was precious. An almost constant companion for those 2 years. I greive constantly and sry several times a day for her. I miss her so badly. Your shira reminds me of her. My baby was also severly abused by a male and was scraed of males till her departure from this world. I was just happy to see her filled with love and affection. She was truly an "ANGEL" for me.. I just read about Shira. What a heartwarming story! She looks beautiful and the fear has gone from her eyes. She knows she is well cared for and loved! I love happy endings!

WOW! She sure has come a long way! Bruce had sent her a care package with her foster mom, and we corresponded for a while, but fell out of touch. We never forgot Shira however, and you made our night with this update!
