Are you concerned that she won't have 'other' kids to be with? She really seems bonded with your dogs. No offense, but I hope she bite her.

When LadyJane posted that very first picture of that terrified and sick little girl at animal control, who would have thought the journey that would be taken Ella is the glue that has allowed friendships to be born and late night "get you through" it sessions. So many of us took Ella into our hearts as well and it is such a wonderful heartwarming feeling in these tough times many of us are going through.

All of the love and support that was given to Ella has been very special and helped me to have a change of heart during a rough time.

So if Ella has found a wonderful new home we all know she has left her tiny on all of our hearts. This is the reason I continue to come back to YT! Thank you lcornel for being such a wonderful foster mom to Ella and helping her become the butterfly she has turned into.

Well...let's not get hasty...Do you think Ella will take to big dogs? What will they think of her? Just meeting the 'prospective' person doesn't guarantee that she'll do well with the rest of the family.

Today is Ella's spay and dental. Please keep her in your thoughts.
I dont know if I ever posted the update of Ella's bloodpanel results but they came back perfect. So Im not worried she is healthy and strong and will do great today......OK Im worried I hate surgeries. I am more worried about her teeth and how many they will have to take.
Ella is in a very bad mood today she wants food....I had to take away her food at midnight last night and she isnt happy about it. Her life revolves around food. Understandably so she has probably gone several days in her life without. I always give my dogs moist food for days after a dental so she is going to be thrilled to get that again. I had her on it in the beginning and then moved her to kibble.

Ella's potential adopter sent the sweetest get well card to her today. I thought that was so thoughtful.

luvfla....I to felt concern about the big dogs but after speaking with her I feel comfortable about it. They sound very sweet and well behaved, they are also used to having an older yorkie around, their little yorkie sister just passed last oct. She said they miss her terribly. Ella is very indifferent to other dogs so as long as they dont bother her she will care less if they are around. She said her little yorkie was the one in charge which Ella could easily fall into that roll. She definitely tries with Sam and Daisy. The one thing I like the most about her is that Ella would never have to be left home alone. She absolutely hates when I leave for work. She wants to be with me always. She told me if Ella enjoys it she would like to wear her in a baby sling through her therapy sessions. If not she has her office set up where Ella could have her own space to relax in. She did this with other yorkie and she said it helps people to relax and open up. When she told me this I got chills. I think Ella was meant to be a therapy dog. She has helped me and touched so many others. I never planned on Ella leaving but from what this potential adopter has told me she can give Ella more than I can. It really just feels right. Im crying again.

Ok so......look what came today....we love it and cant wait to use it.

I will be thinking about our little Ella today and this is just one more step to get Ella to be happy and healthy. Hopefully things will work out for Ella and her prospective new momma. She really sounds wonderful and a perfect fit for Ella. You will have to let us know how she is doing after her procedures today. I love the new stollers too!

OMG how in the heck did I miss this thread?
I just read through the whole thing and sitting here crying my eyes
out, at work no less. Ella sure is a very special little lady. I can't
imagine the life she had before she went to you. What a loving
person you are to open your home and your heart to this little
one in her time of need.
Sending prayer's to Ella today for a successful surgery on both
her spay and dental. Also wishing her, of course, a speedy recovery.
Her future sounds bright and full of love which she so deserves.
What a wonderful ending for this dog who must have suffered over
the years of neglect and human companionship. May she live the
rest of her years like the princess she is.

Ella was the strong little angel we all know and love. She was so brave this morning when I dropped her off. She had ONLY 1 tooth pulled I was convinced she would loose them all. Her brown plaque was all the way to the end of her teeth instead of up by the gums as it usually is. She was shaking a little when we got home so I put a onesie on her and put her in her room and she was out. The vet said she is a tough little girl. But we already all knew that.
