| problem with purecountry.net Hi everyone, I would just like to share what happened to me at www.purecountry.net in hopes that you all use caution if you order anything for your baby from them. I have ordered my yorkie a litte t-shirt from there that said Mommy's Little Girl. Naturally, I was so excited for it to come. When I recieved it, to my surprise the neck of the shirt was barely 4 inches and litterally did not stretch at all. My baby is only 1.5 pounds now, and as little as she is there is just no way of getting this shirt over her cute little head. I sent back the item and exhanged it. . . .surpirse, item number two is the same way. After the third time, I asked for a refund since everything I recieved was not suitable for a yorkie to wear. Well, after many unreturned phone calls, I finally hear from the owner. I never spoke with some one so disrespectful. She told me that there is a law that does not allow refunds and that I can only have an exchange. I need to pick more merchandise. First of all, there is no such thing of a law like that. Secondly, I been through 3 shirts and they are clearly defective. The owner even went as far as hanging up the phone on me. . very childish. My credit card company is now fighting to dispute this charge. Take care, Happy and Careful shopping! Christine |

| Christine, I too had an unpleasant experience with them and never, ever meant to mention it here, however, since I know it wasn't just me, here it is. I ordered 3 little T-shirts for Toto and they were too small. I understood their policy, but figured, what the heck, I will just order the next size and go ahead and return the too small ones, which I did. I got a snippy note pointing out their "procedure" to return merchandise. I just figured that since the return would simply give me a credit balance on my account, I would also order some little sweaters and everything would eventually work itself out. Not so!! I received the 3 T-shirts that fit, and was charged for them. I received the little sweaters and paid for them. Somewhere at purecountry sits my credit for the first 3 T-shirts and since they obviously need the money more than I do and the little sweaters were really "cheesy & cheap looking", I just decided not to pursue it nor do I intend to order anything else!! Sorry you had a bad experience with them also! Maybe if I had mentioned it before it would have prevented disappointment for others.

| Be careful of Handsnpaws.com also! I am new to your group because I just got a Yorkie. I ordered a harness vest that was 40.60, this price was plus shipping. I paid them through Paypal on 5/05. There regular shipping was 10-15 business days, and around 8 dollars. On 5/21 I emailed and asked where my order was. They stated since I didn't pay for the higher shipping and handling charges it hasn't been sent out. Then on 06/06, emailed them again, stating it is now over a months time, they wrote back and stated that I am rude for asking where my product is and they still hadn't shipped it. I told them to refund my money back or I was filing a complaint with the Better Business Burea in their jurisdiction and that I would have VISA get the money back. They finally refunded my money with those threats. But if you do not pay for the higher shipping and handling charges good luck getting the product. Be careful about this so called business. Thank you for allowing me to join your group. |

| I am sorry about your experiences but glad you wrote about them. I was planning on buying a coat from pure Country. I won't now.

| I had a similar experience about a year ago, I ordered 2 shirts, one for Haley that said "Princess" and one for Rocky that said "Daddy's Boy" and I got them, Rockys was way too big and haley's was way too small. They dont have a phone # so I had a hard time contacting them. I emailed them never heard back, I didnt want to send the shirts back and not receive anything so I just ignored it. Guess Im glad I did! |

| That is most strange. I ordered Maggie several t-shirts, sweater, rain coat, hooded fleece shirt, and a sweatshirt. Everything came in within 4 days with the exception of one shirt. I emailed them and they were very polite and said it was backordered and should be shipped within 5 days. Sure enough I got it in 5 days. Maybe they have cleaned house and things are better, or I was just lucky.

| wow. . Hi again everyone, wow, I guess that I'm not the only one. They were very rude to me too. That is no way to run a business. My dad happens to be a business owner and if he treated his customers like that he wouldn't have any! Betty Anne, I felt the same way. I did not want to post this here either, especially since I'm new. I just got so upset the way they handled the whole thing and spoke to me. Hopefully now all of our stories can have others. Jody, I'm new too! Congrats on your yorkie! I sure he or she is precious. I also have had a problem with a harness and a sweater as well. Cheesy! Do any of you have recomendations of where I can get my baby nice things? thanks! Take care! Christine |

| I have ordered clothes from them a long time ago. Their sizes are very unusual. I though the lady made clothes herself but I guess not beacuse they can't custom make them. Thier sizes are too skinny for the length or the length is tooo long. Cute stuff though

| MUyorkie- I recommend www.imapreciouspup.com . I loved the stuff that I got from Brooke and more is on the way! I also got some stuff from PetEdge and they are great for the price...you just have to be aware that they charge you an order processing fee. I think if you have a little girl that www.tinkerbellscloset.com is way cute (I don't have a little girl but her stuff is so cute I'm thinking about a little "metrosexual" ). I also got stuff from barkindogclothes.com and the stuff that I got for Linus is great although the shirt I got for Lucy didn't fit right. Those are my rec's.
