| I have shampoo/conditioner/detangler, and even before I put any detangler on her the first time I tried it, after her blowdry she was looking DECIDEDLY better than she ever had before! So I def. recommend the shampoo and conditioner, if you're in the market for some!

| I use the Concentrated Detangler & Shine, 12 ounces, $22.55 at a local feed store. I really think it would save a dog's coat that you were thinking of shaving because of matts. It has a lot of silk protein in it and no oil. It does feel and look oily right at first, but after drying it doesn't feel greasy or attract dirt. I just bought a very full coated and somewhat curly Yorkie and was suspecting her to be a cotton coat since she kept tangling. She's a little over 5 months now and her coat no longer tangles. Not sure if the Cowboy Magic changed this or she just changed into her adult coat. I think the spray bottle, must be a diluted formula because mine would never spray from a bottle. A little goes a very long way. |

| I purchased it today at a small tack shop. It is a cream formula. Didn't have the shampoo or conditioner in dog formula but had the detangler. Tried it and it worked great.

| I have been watching this thread for some time. Does the cowboy magic also work well for dry brittle hair? If anyone has used both Mane and Tail and Cowboy Magic, how do they compare? |

I've never used the Cowboy shampoo, but the concentrated detangler and shine is very different from the Mane and Tail shampoo/conditioner. | |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'm with Chachi - I usually read a ton before I buy - IF someone wants to try this product - WHAT SHOULD THEY BUY ? I saw the post about the shampoo and conditioner - but what other products are good ? I already have plenty of shampoos and conditioners - but am always looking for something to help Chanels hair...she's cotton coated. sooooooo.....Maybe just try the Detangler - and if so - WHAT IS IT CALLED ? (I got confused reading the posts) |

| The website is www.cowboymagic.com and they have a store locator to see if someone stocks it in your town. If you have tangles, you will love it. I've never seen anything detangle like this stuff. I haven't tried the shampoo or conditioner line, but have heard good things about it too. COWBOY MAGICŪ Detangler and Shine will neutralize static hair electricity instantly. Knots and dreadlocks fall out tangle free right away, no matter how difficult. The silk protein in COWBOY MAGICŪ Detangler and Shine results in a high shine after brushing. It is concentrated: Pure conditioning, contains no water or alcohol, does not dry hair. It works instantly: Detangles as you rub it in and keeps on working, resulting in less grooming time and less product used, saving time and money. It is a deep conditioner: Penetrates below the surface and restores moisture while strengthening hair, resulting in a natural shine with a soft texture. It is long lasting: Repels dirt, dust, and sand, resulting in a shine that lasts longer. Not oily. It neutralizes static electricity: Instantly detangles hair that is difficult to brush and comb. Minimizes hair loss due to pulling and breakage. It only takes a small amount: A small amount (about the size of a nickel) massaged into wet or dry hair will instantly detangle and deep condition. Continue to add nickel sized amounts and brush through until a rich, silky-smooth, shine appears. It works on people, too: COWBOY MAGICŪ Detangler & Shine works on human hair. Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, C 12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Octyl Methoxycinnamete, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Silk Amino Acids, Methyl-paraben, Proplyparaben and Fragrance |
