| Ok I have 2 carriers, One of then is a leather carrier that I tote him around in. It is a carrier/carseat. It has a strap that you can put the seatbelt though. I also have have a plastic carrier/crate thing that is bigger then the is carrier. I use it on long trips. It doesn't have a strap but I do put the seatbelt around it and through the handle. It says in place pretty well. We put it though the test not too long ago. We were going up to my moms and my husband must have dazed off for a second, because he slammed the breaks to avoid hitting the car in front of him. All but my son had our seatbelts on. He was in the back of the van asleep and was awaken by being toss off of his seat. As for the rest of us including Gus, were all just fine and carrier did not budge a bit.

I must be silly but what do you mean by "glass and things flying around your car"? Do you have a picture of your carseat?

| I think they talk about the windshield and how it could shatter and send glas flying around in case of an accident. I do understand that concern, yet I feel, since the car seat is strapped to the seat through the seat belt and the dog's harness is attached to the seat belt with a strap, they are just as "safe" as humans would be in case of an accident while wearing a seat belt. There, of course, are risks each way there isn't anything that is 100% safe. |

I think that whatever you have as long you have some kind of carseat to protect your furbaby, that is really quite good enough.

| I'll take a snap shot for ya all in the next day or two. I really like it. But nothing is 100% I was in a pretty bad accident last year, I t-boned another car. I drove straight into the side of them. They pulled right out in front of me! I was going 65 and it was like hitting a brick wall. The stuff in the far back of my SUV flew through my windsheild. You would be amazed by what becomes a deadly object in an accident! My flashlight punched a hole right through the glass, like butter! It was so scary! I was afraid to drive for months. I keep my car very clean now! nothing laying around!
