Baking powder, peroxide, soap, lemon, vinegar, rose petals rt other flowers. These are just a few ingredients along with other ingredients found in nature, which the companies use. THERE ARE NO - products other than which are or may be synthetic (which, is based off of reproducing nature, or, natural products) used in commercial prep of cleaning solution including soap. Your washing machine, I assure you, will not carry scent, germs, etc, on o your next load of wash. Even in cold water. One can basically make any cleaning product from natural and/or prepared/bulk cheap ingredients. If you are concerned, put a white cloth in your washer, add a 1/2 cup of bleach or peroxide, set the water to hot, and put through final rinse cycle. From Chemistry 101. | |

				   | I have been using washables for at least 15 years. I use the hospital underbedpads as pet ones weren't available. Washable potty pads, or washable soaker pads and doggie bellybands and diapers, don't stink your washer up. I use oxyclean and they clean up beautifully. |

| Yorkie Yakker | I ordered washable potty pads from this company online two weeks ago and have sent them several emails asking when they shipped my order and how. They were quick to TAKE MY MONEY, BUT REFUSE TO RESPOND TO ME. What gives? I am desperately and anxiously awaiting these pads for my adorable five - 8week old puppies who are eating the pads between meals. Just sent hubs to Petsmart - $$$ - Has anyone had bad experience? |

				   | I love her pee pads. The first two times I ordered them they were shipped really fast. My sweetie ordered me some more for Christmas and he told me they took awhile. I ordered belly bands and they have not arrived yet. It's been about 9 days. Still waiting for them. They'll eventually be shipped.

				   | I got mine in the mail a couple of days ago. I've cut them to size and now working on Rusty using it. Do you have problems with absorbtion of the urine on the Pish Pad? I'm trying to keep my boys feet dry. |

				   | I have used washable pee pads for a year now. Since I have 4 yorkies now it is so much better, My babies were shredders also. I just go down to Petsmart and get the very large Pooch Pads. They are $40.00 for a 2 pack. This way I don't have to pay for shipping or wait on an order. They have lasted through 100"s of washings.

				   | I use the washable pads and they are great. I get them from T. Bumpkin who are on Yorkie Talk. The quality is excellent, service is great and they have a lot of materials to choose from. |

				   | Before I started making my own, I purchased these by Priva: They are awesome. I can tell you they have various sizes and I was able to find the smaller version at my local Rite Aid Store. They work fine I can testify I have washed, bleached, oxycleaned, dried at high heat, and gotten rid of yucky poop and all sorts of stuff. The work. I have since made them using the same backing Priva does and I ripped theirs apart to see what it was and it is quilted cotton fabric with a great waterproof backing that I buy by the yard from a place in Canada. I cannot make them for what you can buy these for. So think about your local drug store and start looking for the incontenient aisle. They are used all the time. Pick one up and try it. ![]() The one I referred to is 36 x 52 and I have 5 that I use everywhere. I also have the 36 x 32 version or some such size. They don't come in colors, which is why I started making them. Some folks like to have something to match their homes, etc. Well, since I use the same backing, anything I use on top works just fine. It doesn't need to be made specifically for dogs. I have washed and dried mine in excess of 100 times each. They don't fall apart or lose their ability to work. I don't know about others, but these work well. Last edited by tinypawsdesigns; 01-30-2011 at 12:33 PM. |

				   | I have a HE front load washer and use it to was all my pee pads, soaker pads, belly bands, girl diapers, etc., and never, ever had a stinky washer. I use he tide with febreeze when I have it, and other times, I use an eco friendly detergent with lavender in it. I use fabric softener and oxyclean with them and I don't have any trouble. I have had my front load for over 10 years. Never has it had an odor and I don't leave doors open or anything. I wash normally. |
