| I wish I knew the brand, but I have tried zillions of harnesses and one I found at Wallmart for $10.00 was great, it is heavy duty cloth, like a mini vest, dog's front legs step in and then the neck has a wide buckle that snaps easily in the back, on each sid there is a ring, the leash clips on to both rings. Then lower down the back is a wider area that has velcro on the top of the back, extremely secure. I have several all velcro harnesses that snap underneath the body and eventually they seem to weaken, hair gets trapped in it, and your run the risk if you have a dog that likes to chase things or if you need to lift them up suddenly that the velcro comes undone. I will try to get pics and post. |

| I have one like the one bought at Walmart. I got mine at Petco. I think my boy is between sizes and none fit too well. I really liked those they seemed sturdy.

| Soft Vest Dog Harness by Puppia - Royal Blue at BaxterBoo this is not the brand I bought, but the style is the same, this site has them for 29 but another web site had them for $20.00 but this site shows a better picture. What you do is pull those two D rings together and clip the leash through them, to me this is the most secure and comfortable harness, my little girl is 6 pounds and pull hard if she see something she wants to chase. I did see an earlier post mention this bran above Puppia. The one I got from walmart say Lulu, it's darling because it is hot pink with white polka dots. i also have the same style that I bought at big lots, I cut the tag off and the only markig is an SD, oh how I wish I bought extras........ |

I chose to get Sugar's to fit perfectly underneath her clothing and attach the lead from underneath. Doesn't ruin the look of the outfit that way ![]() ![]() images.jpeg

| I use the Choke Free exactly like the one Sugarmamma posted with Roxie. We have used it for over a year now and it still looks and works great. I did buy and extra in case anything ever happened to it. I like it that much. We have tried lots of other step-in harnesses, but Roxie would either chew through them or they just did not last. Love the Choke Free! As Sugarmamma also said, it lays flat so I use it underneath Roxie's clothes, sweaters, etc. |

| Does the Buddy Belt size chart run true to size? Did you need to go up a size?

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I thought the Buddy Belt ran true to size, both of mine wear size 3 and one's little under 5 pounds and the other one is 5 1/2 pounds.
