Thanks so much! I will check this out. Do you guys have opinion on which one causes the least amount of matting? I was grooming Ginger this morning and on her chest, right where the harness lays, her hair is matting.

I dunno, on the size chart it says size 5 is a 16-18" girth and 12-18lbs and a size 6 is an 18-22" girth and 18-25lbs. He has like a 17.5" girth so you'd think the size 5 would be too small but he fits on the smallest 3 holes, whereas the size 6 he only fit with it all the way tightened as the other holes made it too big. So anyways we went with the 5.

The Buddy Belt is designed to conform to the body (but can still accommodate clothes), so you definitely do not want to add a size. Accurate measurements -- chest size and weight, are the best way to ensure a good fit.

BBs "no-escape" factor was a big selling point for me too.

| Too bad they don't have a 5.5! lol. It would be perfect for Jackson. Though, like I said, we've been happy with the 5. He rarely wears bulky clothes anyways, which would be the only type of clothing it would not fit over. T-shirts and light hoodies are fine and the BB will strap over them.

| here is another good web site for soft step in harness. I have never tried the choke free but it looks like an easy to use design so I might try it. For those that use it, do your dogs pull hard, I was wondering if the thin leather straps would cut into the dog. The thing I like about having a fabric vest is it seems like it would be more comfortable, with less chance of chafing and maybe safer since it is a bit larger. It has to be easy to put on and I like the closure on the top for both ease of use and safety, I have had times where I had to quickly lift my dog into the air. | How does the choke free fasten? It says "vel-lock closure". What is that? Velcro?
