| Do any of you not use bows? Stupid question , I guess. But a few weeks ago I screwed up Roxies bangs, I thought they would look better with a "trim", yeah ok, I messed them up..lol..Anyways, she goes to the groomers Saturday, and I know I am going with a shorter cut, but do you all think I should just do a clean face, not wispy bangs , that means no bows? Or should I just trim her up and let those bangs grow back out so I can use a bow? Also how many of you have girl dogs that dont do the whole bow thing? Sorry for the million and one questions..lol..Thanks again as usual, I love you guys!! |

Here are a few pics of how I have her hair cut... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...april09040.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC01709.jpg I can get a bow in the hair on top of her head still for special occasions, like this: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...over/005-3.jpg I love the look of a top knot, but you need to do what works for you and your dog.

| No bows here. I tried to use them and spent more time keeping them in her hair than bows spent in her hair. I also have to worry about Cooper eating them when she finally gets them out of her hair. Occasioanlly, I will put a bow in if we taking her out with us, but I don't like leaving them in their hair when I am not home. |

| No bows for Mabel! She will chew your hand off if you try to style her hair! She is not into frou frou! I tried to make her feminine and dainty but she will not have it! She would rather wallow around in the mud! Right now she looks like a sewer rat!!! Forget brushing her hair she hates it...as soon as i can i'm going to keep her in a puppy cut. So much for having a ornamental lap dog!

| no bows for my Maddie either. I usually keep her in a modified snauzer cut, short on body, longer skirt and legs and now in the summer a short puppy cut because she loves the pool and being outside. With the puppy cut she dries off quickly and doesn't get too chilled from wet hair when coming into the a/c. I keep her face pretty short year round with a visor cut above her eyes. I love the look of a Yorkie with long hair and a top knot, but I work and am a widow with 2 kids still at home so I'm doing good to get us out the door in the a.m. without having to worry about fixing my Maddie's hair as well! I have tried to put a bow on an alligator clip on her, the hair between her ears is actually long enough, but she won't have anything to do with it. Runs and jumps and rubs her head on the carpet or up against the sofa until she gets it out and then she hides it! |

| My girls wear bows.... for all of about 5 minutes till they can rip them out. Cute enough for an occasional picture, but not for long.

| I put bows in my little yorkie puppy's hair when we go out or to take photos. I am afraid to leave these in all the time. Fear she will get them out of her hair and chew them up. |

| I just do bows for pics and if we are going out somewhere, otherwise it's just up in a band. I wouldn't leave them in when I am not home either, there is always the chance they could get them out and choke on them.
