no bows for my Maddie either. I usually keep her in a modified snauzer cut, short on body, longer skirt and legs and now in the summer a short puppy cut because she loves the pool and being outside. With the puppy cut she dries off quickly and doesn't get too chilled from wet hair when coming into the a/c. I keep her face pretty short year round with a visor cut above her eyes.
I love the look of a Yorkie with long hair and a top knot, but I work and am a widow with 2 kids still at home so I'm doing good to get us out the door in the a.m. without having to worry about fixing my Maddie's hair as well! I have tried to put a bow on an alligator clip on her, the hair between her ears is actually long enough, but she won't have anything to do with it. Runs and jumps and rubs her head on the carpet or up against the sofa until she gets it out and then she hides it! |
