| Freida's Pet Boutique Has anyone else purchased something from them? How was your experience? What about processing/shipping time, and communication? I ask because I purchased a 13" Choke Free Harness from them last Friday, just before noon. The only notification I received was from PayPal, letting me know the payment was sent and received on their end. I emailed them on Tuesday asking for order confirmation, and whether it had shipped yet. They got back to me about 10 minutes later, and said that it was being processed and "should ship sometime this week". As of this writing, I've received no other communication from them and no harness yet, and tomorrow makes a full week since I ordered the harness, so I was curious as to if anyone else had done business with them. Thanks in advance, and blessings!

| Okay, so I messaged them again today, and was told that their "normal" processing time for these harnesses is 7-10 business days. I went back to their site and looked through every page, there is absolutely no mention of that supposedly normal time frame anywhere. This is ridiculous.

| Freida's is in a little village close to me. She is a great woman...sponsers Yappy Hour once a month, sends out Fido Alerts when one of her customers pups go missing among other thing. Her shop is SO tiny but I always manage to spend money when I go in there. You are going to LOVE that harness. I have them for Keegan & Sophie & we have not problem with choking. |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | I've ordered several Choke-free harnesses from them and I'm in Ohio and had wonderful customer service from them. If you call them they will definitely help you. One of my harnesses was on back-order so there was a delay on that one but I've never been disappointed in them at all.

| Well, mine still hasn't even shipped yet. I just got the plain black 13". I'm glad you like yours, but I'm not very thrilled with the length of time it's been.

With her prices (which are the cheapest I've ever found on the web - beyond sales and sometimes even then) she does ship economically (I think mine came parcel post but I don't remember exactly) and doesn't have the kind of clout that the larger stores do with shipers like UPS or Fed-ex to be able to ship cheaper due to the bulk amount of items that get sent out. It does take a while (and I send a few days wondering "ooook, where is this thing") but you'll get it eventually and its worth the wait! Last edited by Dame; 11-20-2009 at 09:42 PM. | *sigh* Still no shipping notification...If nothing by Friday that'll be two weeks. Their "normal" 7-10 business days from ordering to ship have passed. All I've been told is that they'll let me know when it ships. Honestly, I'm not an impatient person, even though it may seem that way from this thread. I just think that any business, big or small, should make good communication a top priority. I understand the whole holiday being upon us and all, but it's really poor business tactics to not communicate with your customers in a courteous and timely fashion. If you know that you won't be able to get something out until after the holiday, just say so. I just purchased a pair of jammies for Galahad, from Rena. She let me know right away that she would try to get it out this week, but because they are very busy, it might be Monday. Really, that's all I ask, to have some communication with your paying customer. Further, if someone knows that their normal time frame for processing to shipping an item is longer than 2-3 days, it ought to be noted on the business' website. I'm going to go try to catch a nap now before my older two kids wake up, the youngest has kept me up all night long and I'm zombified.

| Galahad's Choke Free harness finally showed up yesterday. It fits him really well, it's a lot easier to get on him, and I can put it over his sweater too. We like it, and they put a little note in with it apologizing for the delay. Also in the package was one of those bright orange stickers which reads "In Case of Emergency Please Save Our Pets!" and has check boxes for dog(s) cat(s), bird(s), and other(s).
