| If he comes up with something he would like to sell reasonably, please let me know. I would like a standing water bottle holder, but am reluctant to sink $100 into it. I ought to ask someone who does craft shows. I bet they could make a bundle with a project like this.

| I recently posted that I would comment on the water bottle stand I ordered from Paws Creations. I am very happy with it. It is sturdy, attractive and fits in really nicely in my kitchen. I would recommend its quality to anyone who would like to keep their furbabies face dry and their kitchen floors drip free. I believe their url is www.pawscreations.com. Cherie & Lily

Depending on how handy you are, you could really make one yourself. Many craft stores sell wooden boxes, which you could use to mount your water bottle on. (Anything you can screw in and make secure you can use - the box is just an idea) You can purchase a water bottle guard (and water bottle) at your local petstore. The water bottle guard can then be screwed into your wooden box. If you are willing to "sacrifice" a wall you could simply just mount it that way. This is a water bottle guard: PETCO Chew Guard & Bottle Holder at PETCO You would use the screw hole to attach the water bottle holder onto whatever surface you'd want. Its not overly fashionable, but you could have some fun with customizing it - and if you dog doesn't quite learn the concept you haven't put out $100. Voila! You have a water bottle at whatever height you want, for somewhere around $20+.

My Yorkie was frightened of the water bottle at first, too. I just took him close to the stand, showed him how it worked by putting water on his tongue, and then moved him closer and closer while praising him until he was using it on his own.

| Lily started using it immediately. I put a little peanut butter on the tip of the nozzle to get her attention. That's all it took. As far as your other dogs not liking it, I'm not sure because I only have my one Yorkie. Could it be that it's not the correct height for them?

Its so funny how my yorkie took to it immediately but the other two did not. Maybe cuz they're much older and set in their ways? Right now I have a hidden bowl of water in the house that my pom and jack russell only know about LOL!!!!!!!! Do you guys think that if I only leave the water bottle out and no other source of water in the house and if they get thirsty enough they will use it? Or is that mean? Thanks!

| I would not remove the other water source. You could always ask Betsie on her website to see what other's have done in this situation. This is a long shot, but maybe once they lick the nozzle, you could then give them a treat??? Once they associate the behavior with the reward they may decide to like it.

| These are Water Nozzles that convert Pop Bottles / Water Bottles into a water bottle and some will fit on a Vari Kennel Carrier door. They are even able to be attached to the Rover Pens some use that are made from the PVC Pipes. Dog Bows: Yorkie Bows, Maltese and Shih Tzu Show Dog Bows & Show Leads Regards, Cynthia

| My Yorkie loved the water bottle until he started getting static shocks from it this winter. I'm hoping that he will like it again come spring. |

| My wonderful dad is going to make me a stand like those wooden ones. I loved them, but just cannot pay that much for one. He is a master with woodworking. (I love my daddy ) I'll post pics when he gets it done.

| I don't know if anyone mentioned it but Lixit does make a "glass" water bottle which I think I'd like. Easier to keep clean than plastic.
