| ![]() Yes, our website does state that there us a 7 to 10 business day lead time. However, Puppia did not notify us that they were not shipping the coats of which she purchased any longer until the time we refunded to her the funds. So, a timeline clause is definately in place on the pages of which she purchased from. She as well, stated she knew the timeline. Again, we were notified when we were expecting the delivery - that the items were not going to be shipped due to the items no longer being available. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Oy vey! This is getting out of hand. As thepetkitchen correctly stated, I would have been fine with a private apology and explanation as to why I did not receive my order. Maybe that's petty, but trust me, I am one of MANY petty customers online. Believe it or not, I don't control Google search and didn't know that my thread would end up as one of the top results when googling the name of this online boutique. I also had no idea that this was a one-person shop. I will state again that I was totally truthful and accurate about what happened. However, since I don't want to snatch bread from starving children's mouths ![]() I am willing to request that Admin close this thread and re-name it to something less inflamatory, like "Customer Service Complaint About MarilynMuttBoutique online". I have every right to tell people I'm unhappy with your company, but it's not my wish to hurt you with suppliers or whoever it is you feel is going to take you down. I'm posting this here because I want it to be completely clear what's going on. I don't appreciate being called a liar, but I don't want devastate anyone either. Please PM me if this is acceptable to you. |

| ![]() Well, seems like a miscommunication from the manufaturer to the dealer to the customer. Hopefully this issue has made it clear that frequent check up on orders to make sure the order is being processed and fulfilled is necessary. I have had my fair share of disappointments when dealing with drop-shipping companies or companies who import their products from out of the country. Now I always check up with the manufacturer every couple days to make sure everything is on track. You may seem annoying to your manufacturer, but you will be noticed and appreciated by your customers for being on top of things. |

| ![]() Thank you regarding your input regarding Puppia. I am sure they told you as well, that if they are out of stock in New Jersey - they will indeed retrieve the order from Korea. I do hope that you are not placed into our situation. Using this clients name was to prove that this is a happening that is not normal to our business. If this is what we do on a regular basis - then there is no way that we would known this persons real name. And please, tell me why it is that you believe that this person is able to use our name, however - you believe that we should not be able to use their name? Why is it that you believe that this person who is slandering this compamuy should not be known? Should they not own up to there slander? Or, do you believe that they should hide behind a false name? Why should you - as well as they, be offended that they are known, if what they are saying to be - is the truth. It does not go one way. One can not make slanderous remarks and hide behind a false name and expect to be unknown. Being that you are thinking of joining the dog retail, there is a lot that you will learn. It is NOT unusual to not allow a cancellation once an order has been placed. As well, it is NOT unusual that one can not receive a refund, but only - exchanges. We, offer refunds, but there are those who do not. Again, until you are placed into our situation - you can not pass judgement. We would only hope that you would defend your company if someone is slandering you, rather than sitting back and allowing these lies to occur. You are only thinking about entering into pet retail. I can only wish you the best and suggest that you do research, there is a lot you need to learn. I can only hope that you do not come across the slander of which we have. And, should you - I can only hope that you do not just set back, but that you defute the argument. Again, this person should be known and not be hidden behind a false name. Good luck! | ![]() I am not thinking about being in pet retail - I AM in pet retail. I have my own e-commerce website up and running. I have worked in retail for a multi-million dollar e-commerce website for years. That is how I learned about running an e-commerce website and what it takes to maintain one. This isn't about who is better than who or who knows more than who. I just simply said - Customer service will make or break a deal. Especially with online shops when competitors are just a click away. Yes, I do think it is unprofessional for a business to give out a customer's real name. Your business is a PUBLIC business - you offer your business name, phone numbers, email addresses, physical address, etc. Because you are public - what business doesn't offer that information? How would a business survive if they kept their business name a secret? An individual has a right to privacy and it is very wrong to give out personal information about your customers without their consent. Why do you think credit card merchants REQUIRE privacy policies for e-commerce websites? You are comparing apples to oranges. You cannot compare a business name to a person's name. |
