I think what I am going to do is order Stedman and Tatum each one of the "padded" Puppia Harnesses....just in case we have to come to a sudden stop and it jerks them, I would really like their to be some padding their on their little chests

It's such a shame that you can't see those Lookout seats in person somewhere!!! It's really hard to determine how large of one you need just by dimensions....although, I did cut out a piece of paper with the dimensions on it to see how big of one I'd need but that was when I was thinking about the console seat, which is no longer an option since I've got 2 dogs now

Brooke, have you come to a decision which one you are getting? I'm interested to see your two in one of them. I'm having the same problem b/c I want something that will fit in our car's backseat if we decide to drive our own car (we usually rent a bigger car for all MY stuff that I take

and now all of the dog's stuff

) and one that will be big enough for both to be comfortable for 10 hours.

I'm starting to like the laundry basket idea, LOL.

Someone said something about securing them: don't some laundry baskets have sort of slats in them where you could slide the seatbelt thru

Well I WAS really leaning towards the My Buddy...but now I am thinking that I may just end up going with the Medium sized one as my babies are small and everyone is saying that they would both fit in there nicely, and most of all, comfortably - which is exactly what I am looking for

I wouldn't mind getting the My Buddy as I know that there will be room in my Tahoe for it in the back seat, BUT.....with the Medium sized one, I REALLY do like having the option of it going in the front OR back seat. That way, when it's just the babies and I in the car I can have them up in the front seat with me, and then when hubby is with us we can move the car seat to the back if we want to

As long as I know that they BOTH have PLENTY of room to be comfortable in the Medium sized one, then I am 95% sure that-that is the one that I will end up buying

I am going to wait until Sarah posts pictures of 2 of her babies in the Medium sized one from the front....I think that will help me out alot

I have the Gooby Freedom harnesses for Lacy and Rylie. They are slightly padded and are great for their carseats. I think the Puppia ones are really similar so those might work well too. You just want to make sure you get something that fits well and is wide for a lot of surface-are coverage.

I agree about wanting one that would fit in the front too but be big enough for them both to be comfortable and stretch out a bit. I can't wait to see the photos with the 2 doggies in them!

Yeah....their safety and comfort are #1

I hope Sarah posts those pics soon, cause I am really excited to see them

This pic is a side view...of the oversized one.. and not really a good one to show size BUT to give you an idea.... Shelby & Seymour weigh a bit over 8#'s. Seymour is laying down and his butt is touching the far side of the seat and doesn't reach all the way to the other side. Shelby (who doesn't like to sleep in the car... she has to see what is going on) is sitting on the near side and isn't touching Seymour at all. There is plenty of room for them to lay down together if they want to. They are attached with the straps that hook to the seatbelt and their harnesses. We ordered an extra strap.

I've seen them online but I bought them in Dallas. Gayla (Layla's mom) called Gooby directly to buy them because she didn't know where to find them. They did sell to her so you might try that.

I did not have it monogrammed. I figure if I ever want to sell it, monogramming would make that difficult.

After seeing this picture, and reading what you wrote, I just cannot see going with ANYTHING bigger than the medium

By the sounds of it, I could fit my babies in there and a few more LOL

I actually did find some on eBay

Not a bad price either...only $14 I think they were. I will either go with these or the Puppia ones...not sure which ones yet...I still need to do some more reading LOL

The Gooby ones are certainly priced better though
