| Awwww, they look so cute in their pink car seat! Thanks for sharing pics. I have a better idea of what size to get when I do finally order one.

Forgot to mention that my mom and I ordered ours together (at the same time) so maybe that is why it is taking a little longer

As far as the harnesses go....I'm not really quite sure which one is more padded since I haven't seen either of them in person, BUT....I will say that Puppia has sooo many to choose from and there are several of them that I like (they have a striped one, and a polka dotted one as well as many others) so I will probably go with the Puppia just because I love the patterns/fabrics. There are several members here that have them and everyone seems to just love them. There was another padded harness that I found and fell in love with, and I am actually considering that one as well. It is padded and is just soooo cute, only thing is that the brand isn't as "known" as the Puppia or Gooby. Ahhhh, decisions, decisions

| I just bought a travling Dog seat from Petsmart- I hate it- I am taking it back- well, I was in Wichita when I got it- we have no Petsmarts here!My sister has one and she likes it- but she does not take her dog in the car near as much as I do! But the pillow slides out- he get tangled in this one;s leash thing- it is just a mess for us!! It has got to go back- oh, and when I got it out of the package - one snap thing was broke-GRRRRRR! Banjo is in the car about everyday! I had one something like the outward bound booster seat- my sis gave it to Banjo- but it is too small for him now- and he will not sit in it- i think he gets to hot in it! I have got to find something for him to be comfy and safe in!! so you all are helping me out here! Didn't see a price yet on these!????? My BF about died buy a $60 seat- but I just want to make sure he is safe in the car!

| Ok...This might have already been covered here, but I can't find it. Would the medium be big enough for two 6lbs dogs? Champ's 6lbs and Rowdy's 3 right now, so I know if would work for the time being...but will it work when he's full grown?? I don't want to order the medium and it be too small in 6 months. Does anyone have the medium for 2 6 to 8 pounders?? Is it big enough for the to strech out or is it kinda cramped?? Thanks! |

| I had that one with my Crested and I didn't care for it. The car seatbelt goes over the portion where the dogs are sitting and once my crested pooped in the car seat and it got ALL OVER my seatbelt and on the foam inside the car seat. I use LA Dog Company's Animal Matters Companion Collection car seat instead. It goes around the front and behind the seat so the dog doesn't have to sit/stand on the seatbelt. My Yorkie pooed in it, had runny poop, and spent 20 miles smashing it into the seat before I could get him out. The material is so thick and well made that I just took it off, rinsed it with the garden hose then popped it into the washer. The inside foam was clean because the cover is so nice and thick, now I keep a puppy pad between the foam and cover just in case. Finally, the My Buddy car seat uses your seatbelt to secure the dog, the one I have uses its own strap, which is threaded through the entire seat belt. luxury dog beds, stairs, car seats, safety harness, companion collection Last edited by victoriasueno; 09-01-2008 at 06:23 PM. | My Luxury Lookout Seat has separate straps that slip over the seatbelt. The seat belt secures the seat via a grove behind the seat cushion, then clicks into place securing the straps and seat. The seatbelt does not get in the way of where the dogs sit at all.

| My crested somehow managed to get his poo in that groove behind the cushion, I don't know how thick the straps are now, but mine was soaked through from being stepped on and still got my seatbelt dirty, which is why I switched to a front and back strapped car seat and one with a thicker cover. |
